I really hope the next X-Pro will have a screen like the x100v does.

It would be really handy if via firmware you can allow the sub screen to display the Q menu (or a portion of it). This would add some beneficial functionality to the sub screen.

Is there any way to brighten the rear sub monitor? Mine is dim. Just got my Pro3. Thanks

I am really enjoying my XPro 3 Dura Black and your videos have enhanced the experience. Q: When pressed, can the focus stick be set to choose film simulations on the submonitor screen? Also, can the submonitor brightness be increased? Thanks for making great gear!

Thank-you for your comments. The focus lever, when pressed in, can only be configured to control the focus. The brightness of the rear sub monitor can not be adjusted.

I am dissapointed with the screen solution. Fujifilm should have made it optional. One way to do it could be to make the hinge rotatable, so that you could choose which screen to use. Fuji crippled the camera for so many people. I have enough will power to focus on my subject without hiding the screen. Come on.

what a painful the camera is. I need to flip the LCD screen every time I need to adjust settings?

You can also look through the EVF/OVF to review and change settings. One of the concepts of the X-Pro3 is to get all of the settings for a particular location all set before you start shooting. This allows you to concentrate on the subject, not worry about fiddling with settings on the camera, while creating your images.

What about the Q menu, how do you access it and work it?

How accurate is the lil ovf box? Parallax?
@fujiguys

The OVF will adjust size to account for the Parallax. However, if it's crucial to determine what is in the image, it's a good idea to use the EVF, which offers 100% coverage of the image.

I really don't understand why they bother including a movie mode if your stuck without the option of an external monitor...It's such a flaw in design. I get if they're encouraging you to use the viewfinder, etc, and I get that the xt-4 has that option, but there's STILL a movie mode. You wouldn't necessarily need image stabilization, you wouldn't need a 'custom' xpro3 camera cage (Theres plenty of customizable options that can be fixed to the xpro 3), and you wouldn't even need the screen to flip all the way around, but they've really decided the screw their consumers by excluding just one hdmi port. Yet, they still have 4K shooting and extensive movie options, which are now rendered essentially unusable for even a semi-serious video shooter. Please don't tell me "get an xt-3 or xt4." I love the xpro3, and I am definitely mainly just a street shooter, but there is no continuity in regard to video. All they had to do is add an hdmi outlet or the option of an adapter, but instead we have a 1,500-2,000 dollar camera loaded with video features that are uninhabitable to the very camera they are featured in. Ridiculous. I love love love the fuji simulations but I would almost rather just get a Leica, because at least they make it clear that the camera is only for stills instead of adding things that can't really be taken advantage of
