Yeah looks good. What ratio do you mix your Clear to? Yours seems to be thinner than mine. And you say you apply 2nd and 3rd coats, each to smooth out the previous coat. When I do that it's like I'm putting orange peel on top of orange peel! Then it takes me ages to rub it flat for polishing.

quick question. I'm still pretty new at this hobby but I jumped ahead and put down the clear coat before I put the decals on. Should I just lay them down and add another 2 coats? or should sand down what I've done first, then put down the decals and coat again? get back to me when you can :). Great work with this one though! looks great so far!

@shaen2808

Honestly it doesn't matter much, just make sure you follow the directions for spraying, airbrushes are just smaller spray cans when you think about it. There are a lot of KZitem videos on the subject.

Do you thin out your paints? Also, are they Acrylic, Lacquer or Enamel?
@shaen2808
5 жыл бұрын
You have to thin paints when using an airbrush, a simple Google search will get you the answers, Tamiya colors are mostly acrylic and same as Vallejo, I'm not sure about zero paints as they aren't sold really in Canada, my guess is that everything except clear coat is acrylic. The only exception is with the airbrush ready paints
