As someone who myself done little projects from wood, I would say it like this - Easy to watch and be amazed, but whole-lot a pain the ass for actually building this thing. So, with all my great respect to the father and wonderful man he is, I suppose he had a greater picture and it was to see his sons smile, which for me is just like - <3 (WE LOVE YOU MAN) :)

Amazing job! As a tradesmen, I have mad respect! The amount of work that went in to that is mind blowing. Maybe a thin steel skid plate on the bottom, and let it rip!

This kid will never forget this in his life. I remember my dad got an electric bike from goodwill and fixed it up and 20 years later I still remember it like it was yesterday.
