When I bought my Mk2 TDI a few years ago, it came with Comforser CF710 tyres which I'd never heard of, and from research are at the budget end of the market, but tbh, I really like the ride, they are very quiet at 69db on the road, go round corners really nicely and grip well on wet roads, and have a rim protector, the fuel side isn't that good rated at D, although I don't do loads of miles seem to have lasted very well, when these need replacing I'll definitely get the same again. With regards to TT suspension, I've owned a MK1 225 Quattro and now own a Mk2 Tdi Quattro and I have to say I think Audi got it right with the ride and handling on standard suspension, and that comes from someone who has owned a "lot" of cars and changed numerous suspensions to try to improve what ever car I had at the time, with varying degrees of success, I don't see the benefit of adjustable dampers unless you're tracking the car, but if not then Bilstein B4 dampers I've found are a good replacement for standard items, even with slightly lowered springs.

I have a 2011 TT TDI it’s incredible , the torque and engine set up make it extremely quick. I’ve just sold my Boxster 987 and this TT is far quicker .

thank you very interesting. I am hoping to purchase a MK11 2013 era .not sure to get the 1.8 ltr , as it seems that these are bought by ladies and hence lower milage ( no sexist comments intended, just a fact) or the 2.0 ltr. Also would like your comment on whether to for the manual or auto .MMM!

I’ve just fitted Devanti tyres the front of my Audi tt. 255x 30x 20’ and the ride I can only describe as “choppy”, it’s a weird sensation, like the wheels aren’t round! I had them rebalanced, thinking I’d lost a weight. I’m a bit lost what to do. I had Pirelli on before I have 3 mum left on the rear tyres and don’t know if the ride will improve if I moved these to the front until I replace them?

Hello Sir, outstanding video, lot of topics addressed thanks a million. I drive a mk2 TTS wich upgraded HPFP, TTRS LPFP to suit E85 conversion. You may have considered talking about the fuel pressure release valve that originally is set to 120 bars and can be replaced by the RS4 model set to 140 bars to raise injection pressure and adjust ignition timing. That goes along well with the TTRS/RS3 injectors upgrade too. There seems to be a 150+ bar model too but it was way to expensive for me. How about sway bars? Again thanks and congratulations.

That makes me sad, these cars are future classics and I'm hoping that they will bow to pressure and release a mk4. Look at the Sirocco - it took years but finally they released a new version of it.

the bright side of this is the cars will go up in price in couple of years... at least there's this... although I'd love it if they made one more final edition MK4
