I love how Jim can make us laugh at life. He always lifts my spirits whenever he speaks. His best message is at the end of his show however with “turn the TV off” and stop letting tv phone and movie screens tell us what to think and how to live.
@Acceptablehandleaheada2.-_

The thing about that though is you have to use one of those devices to listen to someone like Jim give you that advice. It's a self-defeating point he's making in that he's telling us how to live by telling us we can't let influencers tell us how to live.

@@Acceptablehandleaheada2.-_ sometimes you have to go into enemy territory disguised as enemy in order to infiltrate into the deepest inner sanctum to drop the bomb of love and funny and living to the ears of people that may never hear it or may hear it for the first time. Jim's messages about balance and management of your own life with the help of God good relationships, and common Sense protection. And it's okay to laugh at ourselves and how ridiculous we are but how much we can love at the same time.

You don’t need to tune out to form your own opinion on a subject. That actually sounds like the instructions on how to remain ignorant and uninformed. I am a death doula, I help people as a midwife for their journey back to the spirit. I want to always take the opportunity, when presented, to share some information in have learned in my practice. The dead are doing fantastic, I promise you. They are in a realm of infinite love, able in an instant to review their lives and receive complete understanding and comfort for all of their lives events and purposes the good and the bad all may sense. Surrounded by infinite love, I could go on but I don’t want to sound crazy I just wanted to offer some tangible comfort, the dead are fine; it is the living that’s suffer the grief of their absence They want us to know it is of no benefit to wreck the days the living have left in homage to their .absence. It’s futile And as crude as this will sound, we are all guaranteed the same end. In 125 years everyone here on earth at this moment will be gone. Why then are we so surprised and offended when one of our loved ones leaves? We aren’t promised a certain amount of years We are guaranteed death. We should cherish each and every moment with those that we love and be grateful Your comment tells me you are on the right track to a healthy grief process Death makes life important. With love, Leslie

In all fairness, he never even qualified with the M9, but it was glorious. She wasn't a fan of guns or tattoos, then started dating a tattoo artist, with a pile of guns. She immediately claimed my favorite AK as her own, the first time she shot it. Worked out, cuz I had to buy another AK. Lol She now carries a Glock 43 and has a half sleeve of tattoos... I’ve always been terrified of doing stand up. Nowadays it seems like comedy has become less physical/personality oriented and more of just observations about the same contentious topics… I thought I was done with even thinking about comedy. I just wrote bits into my phone and moved on. That was until I saw Jim live last week in Waukegan, Illinois, and met him through my Metallica loving friend who knew Jim from his opening stand up at Metallica shows. Not only was the show the most I’ve laughed, at the most unexpected topics, in a long time, but Jim just has this natural, genuine, down to earth yet electric energy. No politics, no idealism, no discrimination, no bullshit. He’s also a genuine human being to meet, and a powerhouse on stage. I wish I discovered him sooner, but he’s my absolute favorite comedian now, of all time. Meeting him I tried to make a joke about how scared I felt being the only south Asian person in an audience of all white people hysterically laughing at one of his bits where he does a Chinese accent, and I thought I made an absolute fool of myself even mentioning it 😂 his bit wasn’t racist, it was a tiny, hysterical snippet, but the people around me in my seats scared the crap out of me with the way they began laughing at Chinese the Chinese accent. At first I was a little upset. It was like a stark reminder of what small towns can be like, where diversity is non existent. I imagined the worst. it was my first time being in a small town crowd where I absolutely stood out like a sore thumb. But then in his set he said something along the lines of “everyone here just wants of connect with one another and get along, forget the politics. The government. They all just want us to hate each other, but we all really wanna just connect and get along.” And in a moment where I felt a natural inclination of dividing myself from everyone around me, and judging the people around me, he snapped me into a reminder that there is a world where not only does everyone get along, but we laugh together at everyone’s expense, equally. He didn’t just have spot on accents, but he also did a 20 minute but about hog hunting with hillbillies, did great impressions, and his vocal sound effects are unmatched. Jim, you are a GEM. Thank you for being uniquely you in a sea of strange media stories (Chinese spy balloon 😂) that wants us to be sheeple. I hope one day I have the courage to be myself on stage and have a chance to attempt to connect and laugh with people too. Until then, I’m going to have a ball watching all your comedy specials on your channel 😂

Whoa. So sorry to hear about your classmate. :( I still cannot believe just how terrible these products are. Even more insanely terrible and absolutely unbelievable is that they haven’t been pulled from the market, across the board (which should have happened within the first month, no later than the second). And even more dystopian are the F/D/A meetings “discussing” whether or not to authorize any of them. I’ve watched/ suffered through most of them. Shameful. (& I’m not armchair “quarterback”-ing, this is my wheelhouse.) Again, so sorry to hear of your loss. These comments are all over all social media platforms. (When is it no longer “anecdotal”?😢)

Jim, I watched you as a young boy 11-16 in the 90s on SNL and Half-Baked and remember laughing much every time you did a skit. I am so so happy to find your stand up stuff, which I can't believe I never listened to until a couple of days ago. You are a breathe of fresh air and a blessing to me. I even let my two year old watch some of your Dr. Fauci routine like the Parrot thing and he was rollin laughing loving your crazy antics. God bless you and your family! I wish you the best my brother and am so thankful for you!! If you get this note, know that I really really appreciate you lifting up my day today.
