Running out of talent and then blaming an oil patch is an odd flex. Own your shit... owning it keeps you humble = growth. Pretending will get you killed because you "think" if it wasn't for "oil" ( lol ) you wouldn't have crashed which is a lie. Obviously there's something else in this life you are to do so it wasn't your time. Ride safe. 🏍💨

For constructive feedback only... I slowed this down to 1/4 speed, and what I see is improper use of gears. If you enter a corner at high speed without engine braking, your brakes are the only thing slowing you. Because you did this, when you applied throttle mid-corner (which can be heard just before the front let go), the bike was forced by momentum beyond the grip limit. The oil patch mentioned had already gone by, so it wasn't that. I learned this the hard way in the twisty hills of NorCal myself. Stay in a lower gear and use more engine braking. It will keep your momentum where you want it.

Not being from your country, I've wondered is there a speed limit on these "canyon roads"? And what kind of trouble do the cops give you? They seem pretty lenient from what gets shown on KZitem.
@langhamp8912
11 сағат бұрын
They're not lenient! They rarely but occasionally block off the road ahead and stop all the riders. However, what you're probably seeing is a 2nd run, whereby the riders will run the road again after a much slower spotting ride. I have accidentally been caught up in these types of riders, and the cops stop every rider, which is a big reason why I don't like them. I won't ride a sportbike, I won't wear leathers (an Aerostitch suit instead), and I put panniers on my bike just so the cops don't associate me with these types of riders. In my opinion, their speeds are both too fast and too slow at the same time. I do ride trackdays and we're going slower than that through the turns but much more leaned over. So they're going too fast because the turns are so shallow, but too slow to lean over much. His crash, by the way, was caused by him pulling the bike further down into the turn while opening the throttle. You can pull the bike down or you can open the throttle, but you cannot safely do both unless you have a bike with TC.

As a noob rider that's been watching a million videos, here's my guess which, i didnt know about till a few weeks ago (could have been me), when you thought you were ok speed wise in the turn you let off the brake and accelerated "unloading" the fork. This type of crash is one of the most common ways of low siding, and probably the most common way. As you lean the bike further into the turn, you have to come off the throttle, but if you lean the bike further and apply throttle then the rear tire can't handle the extra load and you low-side. Once you're at full lean, then that's it; you have to wait until you're through the turn and can start standing the bike up and THEN apply throttle.
