@@lucashedenbeckYou call self-promoting and a couple taps of a keyboard work? No wonder the world is in the state it is. If GenZ were actually relied upon to do any relaxation work, the world would literally stop. While the rest of us are maintaining the power grids, disposing if waste, teaching kids in schools, saving lives in hospitals, you're lying in the garden posting bullshit online and calling it work. @AClaiderman
Ай бұрын
What do you do after 5? I feel like that’s a lot of time. I wake up at 5am to go to work. I’m out by 3pm. I do a workout at home(calisthenics) And I go walk to the river nearby me(not a clean river) just for a walk in the sun, about a 1 hour walk round trip. But when I’m there I read for like half an hour. Then I head back home. By like 7. Shower get settled, fuck around for like an hour, depending cuz my wife comes home around 7-8pm. And we cook dinner together. Watch an episode of a show(right now The Boys) then go to sleep around 11. Then same thing the next day. You don’t have to be unemployed to enjoy yourself. So what do you do after work?
@AClaiderman
Ай бұрын
Edited for typos. But adding this for clarity; when I have work, me and my girl also take time to talk to each other just hang out during dinner and shows(sometimes we skip the show and just hang out listening to music.) And on our days off I do all that with her. And I’m doing this while working 40 to upwards of 72 hours a week sometimes. No excuses bro. Go do what you gotta do to be happy.

The sad part is what life expectations are generating this social media and influencers… so fucking away from the hard reality. We don’t know how much damage are we doing presenting and giving “voice” almost only to the life exceptions and avoiding (not giving views) to the bitter part of the life cake. To get in a very well paid job (let say over 6 figures) in average you need make a lot effort and sacrifices. I’ve worked for Big Four Firms, Strategy consulting firms, etc… till reaching C Level positions and one of the most valuable lessons I got from those Firms was accountability for my actions and endless effort to be in peace with my mind despite of the outcome of the decisions taken, even if they were successful (victories) or learnt lessons (defeats).
