I REALLY Wish that Ruiz had retired after this victory and told the Boxing World to "Kiss my A$$". He could've put his belts on display at a bar he bought in Mex City which would've created enough draw to make him a lot of money. He said that winning the Title was his dream come true, so what did he have to stick around for ? But he ended up being just another fighter who wasn't smart enough to quit while he's ahead.

Joshua must have been shocked at the punches Ruiz took after that first knockdown. He landed a flush right hand immediately after that that would have knocked out any heavyweight on the planet. I remember watching it live and I thought maybe the stoppage was premature but it wasn’t. Joshua was not fit to continue. This fight completely changed Joshua‘s mindset on how he approaches fights. The fear in his eyes after that second round was pretty stunning.

They only picked Ruiz last minute cause they thought it would be an easy night. Then in the rematch they took advantage of Ruiz being just living the life and run circles around him to get an easy decision. They didn't want no piece of Ruiz because he's the better boxer by a mile.

@nishblaze AJ would have KOed Ruiz in 6 rounds if it wasn't for that extra blubber. Ruiz took shots that would have floored him the last fight. Ruiz only won the first time because he concussed AJ. Before then AJ would have won if he just backed up and clinched when Ruiz got close. AJ will TKO Ruiz in the 3rd fight if he comes in lighter.

When Andy Ruiz (USA) saw Anthony Joshua (England) staying in his corner after the final knock down, he raised his hands in the waning moments of Round 7. The destroyer knew has was victorious that very moment. And instinctly raised his hands up again, after seeing the referee waived off the fight. Perfection.

He should still come down to around *240lbs. He'd be even FASTER without losing power because his power does NOT come from that extra 20 pounds of stomach lol.
@BossBunnyCom
3 жыл бұрын
@Luis Peña Typo. I mean he should come down to 240, then he'd be faster with no muscle loss, meaning he'd hit harder. Stomach fat only slows you down, not make you hit harder, and abs are stronger than a gut. *Plus: punching faster IS punching harder*

@@eddydonis2650 That's not how it works though, he's in the same weight class as other fighters, he is powerful, and if he lost a little weight, he'd be *FASTER* so therefore his punches would hit even harder.
