I love your channel and that you give all praises to God. I, too, give God all the glory for my bountiful harvests! I often tell people that I feel closer to God in my garden than I do in church because He and I commune together on a daily basis. I do my little part by planting the seeds and fertilizing and caring for the plants and He does the rest by nourishing it with the rain, sun, wind and seasonal temperatures for the crops I am growing at that time. I don't look at gardening as work either, it is more therapy and worship with the Creator than work for me. I grow just about everything you are growing but I need to know where I can find true Callaloo seeds. A friend gave me some last year that she got from someone else but when I planted them the plants went straight to seed. I would appreciate it if you could tell me where to get some. Keep doing what you're doing, being a blessing to others as God blesses you. You and your family are a true inspiration to many. 🙏🏾❤😊

It's wonderful seeing a KZitemr that is able to speak at length about gardening basing their own knowledge on trial and error personal experiences. It is wonderful seeing such a large family garden which is doing amazingly well. I personally never have been able to appreciate those channels with people who have a tendency to speak as a expert about gardening and their personal small garden is showing as doing very poorly and not even well maintained. Which is very much different from what is being displayed on your channel. Keep up the good work and I believe that the amount of produce coming out of your garden will show viewers that you are the real deal when it comes to gardening 👍🏾

Thank you brother for your kind words. When we started our channel, our goal was to teach and show by example what can be accomplished with a little sweat and some old school tried and true techniques. Happy to hear that others are actually learning and applying

I'm growing callaloo for the first time this year and those bugs are having an all-you-can-eat buffet. I sprayed with spinosad but they seem to be immune. I'll have to try the DE.

Interesting that so many pests are in the garlic bed. Pests usually don't like the smell of garlic so they stay away. I would think the scent of garlic is still in the soil. Do you find this unusual?

We amend the area that we plant our callaloo in with organic matter which in most cases is broken down manure from our chicken coops and goat pens. You can buy pelletized chicken manure as well if you dont have access to fresh.
