Put the lawyers in the foxhole on the line and see how the ROE change....heard about FOB Falcon and was there in Ramadi for a few days TDY, after it 'settled down', as a civilian a few years later. LEPs in combat operations needs a rethink, for insurgencies the ROE certainly need clarification. Military units should not be the world policemen.

Captian Roger Hill's story shows us that the following verse is true (1 Corinthians 1:19 “For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”) Those that lead lack wisdom and prudence, we must begin to elect individuals that 'know' Christ and absolutely "love" God with all their mind, heart and soul.

This is what’s wrong with the military and being a vet I earned the right to make that statement. We need more Capt Hills not only in the military but as part of our lawmakers. ROEs we’re not put into place to save lives let’s be honest..ROEs cost more unnecessary deaths and ultimately buys more time for the enemy. I’m not going to bash the upper military leadership and everything Capt Hill said is 100% correct but poop trickles downhill.. Washington is to blame,, they are more worried about re-elections and public opinion that they literally have hands up the rear of our senior leadership.. it should be left to what makes sense and not having a huge undertone of politicians trying to look like they made all the right decisions.. sad story but I’m proud of Captain Hill and would have served under his leadership. You can tell his primary mission was to keep his guys safe and for that tells me all I need to know about him.
