That injury he has is messing with his brain: Remember, the muscle was lifted off the bone. (happened in high school and got worse throughout the years) He has the potential to go fast but his brain won't release him. However, I have seen him in his glory days and I salute him❤

I mean, this makes perfect sense to me. The brain can be self-defeating; I don’t see any good reason why Yohan should not be in proper shape to run fast at this point. The injury was many years ago, and moreover, if we look at his times, he’s currently running his fastest 60M, and he even had a legal 9.85 without much wind just two years ago. His body is fit and able to go fast…his brain isn’t allowing him to trust his training. I must agree with you!

I mean he ran 9.85 last year ,it's not impossible for him to run 9.9 /9.8 . Looking at how fast he comes out at the blocks he actually leads until halfway he starts slowing down , I feel he has the potential to beat many athletes and be one of the best in the 100m he just doesn't belive it he stuck in the past even a low 9.8 is possible. He ran on fear thsts why he is shaking side to side and trying so hard he just needs to see it possible and relax and just focus he will be good he fit enough too

Brain is powerful. Injury is psychological. Brain don't want him to experience that level of pain again.

No sah, it look like Yohan get some extra speed overnight. Wonder who were his competitors in that heat. I remember how Bolt ran two races before he broke those records and he shaved off a lot of seconds off those two previous times. Wah no dead no dash it weh. He needs to dip below 10 secs. Mi aggo pray fi him. My God never disappoints me yet. Yohan will improve.

All the best to Yohan but the injury has takes its toll and that makes it impossible for him to be a medal contender.

When Yohan ran 19.26 in the 200m,it was almost the end of a long season..my point is unlike most athletes he gets better with more races.

No sah yohan not running consistently....10.13secs to 3rd place in final is not good enough for me...if he won the finals then that would show improvement...I think his days are over..the hamstring injury took its toll on yohan...n he never recovered mentally or physically...most unfortunate...thats my take I
