Just got mine yesterday. The sound effects for acceleration are built into the driving modes. All done through the speakers. No actual physical gear in the car making those or audible outside. Very fun.

And if it’s very cold or very hot and some hilly driving, 200 range ain’t even close to what you’ll get especially with a recommended state of charge of 10-80 percent - yeah may not get 100 mile range on some days depending on weather and driving conditions.

Thanks for this - first ALL4 SE units have not arrived in my area yet, due in a few weeks. Deposit made, colors chosen and VIN number assigned - but will be hesitant until finding out what the “real world” range is (230mi? 250mi?). Driving the ICE version it was fun enough, but your experience with all that bhp and torque I’m looking forward to testing the ALL4 in a few weeks.

Shame the rear internal space didn't have more time on the video. The centre seat has no comfortable foot room, as there is the remnants of the transmission tunnel from the legacy petrol model. This really is a four person car, not a fiver.

I’m torn between the Porsche Macan and the MINI JCW Countryman. I’d probably get the JCW Countryman but I’m weird. I would look got a pre-LCI version with the lesser horsepower, but with a manual. I would then tune it, upgrade some stuff, Coilovers, OZ wheels, etc.

I had the misfortune of getting this car as a loaner from the dealership today. It's utter garbage. Drives like a whale, interior has minimal mechanical switches, and everything about it just feels cheap. They ripped out everything that makes a MINI a MINI and we're left with a soulless monstrosity.

@@PhotoJohn80 Ioniq 5 reminds me of a Lancia Delta Integrale rally car. The EV6 and EV9 are uglier than the Countryman. I like electric cars that look more like their internal combustion counterparts because then it’s a matter of powertrain, not style.

@@TheMINIac I’m sorry but that just seems like a weird concept. Look back at the history of cars and you’ll see that through the 100 plus years there is always a time where cars don’t look like cars nowadays. It’s called evolution of design.
