I met her over 30 years ago she wasn’t doing the calls yet but her artistic talent and love of birds was pretty evident I haven’t seen her in years but I’ll never forget her

It's a Gambels Quail's territorial call, she says the name just before she does the sound. Mourning dove is later in the video

Im near santa fe, new mexico and have a pair nesting in a birdhouse i put up for blue birds. The song is almost like a canary and they look like a type of flycatcher. Is but the cornell site has a very different song for them. Anyone know of a way i can identify them? Their song is really unique for this area.
