@graceful beauty | RIGHT! Sociology: Social behaviors propagated to the masses... about a particular piece THEY divided from society as a whole / Criminology: Social behaviors propagated to the masses... about a particular piece THEY divided from society as a whole. Just a different piece of society, one with negative perceptions and implications and one without. Biased like all western “sciences.”

I respect and admire Cannon's class sessions. I have a heart for history and sadly I was not educated with truth of racism until my early twenties. This session is powerful. I learned so much of the history of slavery by my professor in my rhythm and blues class. It was gut wrenching and horrifying!!! Growing up my favorite teacher was a beautiful black woman and my childhood best friend was a black girl and now my children are half black. I personally believe black people are the most beautiful and strong race! I will speak life into my children and grandchildren and teach the truth.

Sevyn, my son, is destined for greatness and it falls on my shoulders to ensure he lives up to his greatest abilities. This video gave me educational tools to equip myself along this journey, which I will pass along to my son’s father, and he and I will lay this knowledge upon our son. Thank you. RalphEllisonX We are not outnumbered we are out organized. We don't need to be reactionary but we need to be revolutionary. There is no point in acting without a plan it won't work against a system but play into the strategies of a system we are born into. We have to reverse our thinking then act, so that action is not in vain. I say this as a grand and great grand child of chattel slaves and a daughter of a woman who served her people in Black Liberation Army in the 60s of St. Louis. Action needs to be as strategic as the systems took in place to destroy us. I agree it shouldn't be too long but long enough enough to organize...

The last thing mainstream Society wants to do is educate us, especially our men. However after reading the new Jim Crow and learning about how the family and community of someone who's just been released from prison are still treating them as a criminal. So we don't have to wait for the dominant Society to put these ideas (education & rehabilitation) in place. We can do it ourselves with our own people who have been just released. And do it quietly... they're watching.

Our reference of ‘royalty’ typically is from Europeans and none of their royal bloodlines were anything we should emulate, so I avoid that term. More importantly than being royal, I think we should strive to be ‘learned’. Our ancestors KNEW things. I didn’t say ‘believed’ things, ‘hoped’ for things, had ‘faith’ in things, they KNEW indisputable facts and didn’t bother being divided by the trivial. We need to return to that.

Because of White Supremacists deeply embedded roots in America: Law Enforcement will forever be viewed as an "OCCUPYING TERRORIST FORCE" within the "Black" Hebrew Yisraelite Community. Which makes even the sincerest of Police Departments job of repairing the breach between the Black Community and the Police very much difficult because of the History of Law Enforcements Oppression of us.

Don't get me wrong now just because Law Enforcement hires persons of Color as Officers does not mean that their policies are Oppressive and Biased. For as I've often said (Thanks to my Beloved Brother Micheal Eric Dyson) the Plantation is Portable which means a Black Officer can espouse White Supremacist ideals and tendancies after years of indoctrination in this White Supremacist System. Therefore, we can not get so caught up in the color of the particular officer but be ever mindful of the policies and use or rather misuse of his or her Law Enforcement Authority.
