This grandpa sounds awesome!! Thanks to him, IMO, the OP is probably going to be a great adult and a great father. The part when the Grandpa said, "He's my piece." and the OP hugged him was pulling at my heart strings. 💙 🩵 That's what family is all about. You don't pick and choose who you love. Family is family. Parents are SUPPOSED TO love all of their children unconditionally. There is absolutely NOTHING that could make me stop loving my children or my grandchildren. If someone ever told me that one of them was not mine biologically, I could not just ditch them and stop loving them. That's not how love works. That father is a wacko!! Sorry comment is so long.

@@meaghanabramson2339 Walmart security has no legal status with law enforcement. If you don't want to be detained, they can't detain you. However... They have cameras everywhere and logarithms that target ads at you based on what you bought with your credit card (I think there was even a lawsuit because that's how a parent found out their teen was pregnant). The reason they couldn't catch steak guy is because they couldn't get a good look at his license plate AND (to the best of my knowledge) he'd never swiped his card, giving access to that information.

Grampa is literally the Goat in this story for helping OP with any option he wanted. You don’t get to abuse a family member who was possibly not yours who you raised. Whelp, the lesson is people forget what you did, what you said & how you acted. But deep inside they NEVER forget how you made them feel. The chaos due to the DNA finding shows the character of his family. Who can complain when the truth is revealed what the insights gained tells how to treat the extended Family members who turned on OP. OP found out who the real people worth knowing were. The rest are as disposable as they found him. Life lesson learnt, you'll only know real people by how they treat you in adversity.

Wow.. life is stranger than fiction. I’m sorry about your family troubles. Just know you’re not the only one who has major dysfunction you were born into. It’s a blessing for you that your grandfather always stuck by you regardless of what the test said. Whatever you’re deciding your course of action is for today is your decision. Everyone has a life path and many don’t understand that we all have a ‘character’ that’s on the line with choices we make- so what Martin Luther King said about it’s less about our ‘skin’ but more about the content of our character applies to so much more than just race. Don’t worry it’s all coming out in the wash and will work out for you. Just be TRUE to yourself and other people will level up with you. 😊

I am honestly lost for words at how cruel the brother is. He didn't just bully him, he ruined his life and now, all of a sudden he wants to be best palls and say I never meant any of it. If this were me I be at the living daylights out to him. I go so far as to break his spine so he is paralysed from the neck down. It would certainly teach him a lesson he would never forget. They are not family. Family does not betray each other, especially not like this. Even if the test were true you grew up together. How could he do a 180 and be so heartless. The brother must be living in a dream world and so are the rest of the so called family if they think there is any hope of fixing things. They burnt the bridge and now want tot fix it. There is no fixing this. Actions have consequences and they did this to themselves. Good for the grandpa for looking out for his family. This is what family means.

We had a Simple question about the a product in the store, and asked a Little Person Employee who was recently Highered... She said she didnt know the answer and we thanked her for her time Respectfully. Not Two seconds later, KAREN Employee shows up SCREAMING at us for something she THINKS we said... We inform her that she misherd us becasue we were nothing but Respectful to the Little Person, and She REFUSED to hear it Insisteing that we should NEVER talk like that to a Employee again... So there you have it... A Employee told us to NEVER be Respectful to ANY walmart employee ever again... We laughed it off and told our family... My mom with a Calm Head told us to tell the Store Manager because Karen Employees Screaming at teens for Being Respectful to our elders is not a Laughing matter, even though the over all context was funny in the end. Currently Mrs Karen is on Third Shift assisting in the Unloading of the Trucks that come in. I have been told this is one of the most Difficult jobs that there is in the store, and a Long leap from being responsible over Self Checkout where she left her Post to Scream at two Texas Gentlemen.

I still struggle to understand how dads can react like that. Once they think the kid isn’t theirs, all the love just vanish? Is it that easy to turn off the switch? Did they ever truly love their kids if they can dump them so easily because of blood? As for OP’s dad, a good dad and good person in general would know to only blame the mom. A good dad would understand the affair kid isn’t at fault, keep issues with him and the mother, and not let his oldest son become a bully. He doesn’t want to have anything to do with the affair kid ? Ok, but letting his own son harass anyone, and even encourage it, still makes him a bad dad
@k.a.89

Hey, I understand why the dad didn't want to raise a son who "wasn't his" and why he didn't want anything to do with "her son" and his cheating wife. But he needs to understand why his son wouldn't want anything to do with the "father" who abandoned him, and the sibling who ab**ed him as if THEIR mom, being a huge w**re was somehow his fault. You can't just stroll back into somebody's life after mistreating and abandoning them as if all is well. It's not, and you have to make it right if you ever want anything to do with them, and if they won't let you, then it's time to give up hope. The father is not entitled to forgiveness, and it is not the son's job to deal it out as if he's donating it. That's a personal decision.
