I'm also a compulsive shopper. Luckily I tow our travel trailer with a cargo van so we always have a lot of room to haul stuff home in. Our last trip was to Central California and of all things, I found some stuff for our boat in an antique shop! Once at a hot rod swap meet, I actually bought a complete tuna tower with rocket launcher fishing rod holders for $40. Those eight rocket launchers usually sell new for about $90 a piece! Once again, the cargo van came in handy!

I live in a two bedroom condo now since my divorce 26 years ago. I did acquire a parts room for my fishing stuff when my son moved out and bought his own house. My boat and travel trailer are stored at an RV yard. To manage my spending habits, I'm always giving old stuff away to others and Goodwill to make room for new "junk". There's always something I can't live without!

Lorena: be happy Paul doesn't drink - can you imagine him being drunk? He already comes up with the wildest things sober! But now it makes sense: instead of damaging his liver with alcohol, he does it with sugar. Well, aside from pushing your pancreas, sugar is about 65% as toxic as alcohol to the liver (by weight). A chocolate bar is roughly equivalent to a glass of wine - personally I'll have the wine any day (or time - LOL). Great advise on the packing down sand (or snow)!! It's been a while that I've been driving in snow and I never took anything but my Jeep into sand, so no troubles there. Packing stuff down under a 20k lbs RV is a good idea (and I don't think the good old floor mat under the tire trick we used back in the day when we got stuck in our old VW beatle will work with an RV) Again, phantastic video.
@LifeWithPaulLorena
7 жыл бұрын
That's what I always tell people! Imagine me drunk! Plus, I have an underlying anger issue, kind of like Bruce Banner and I'd be afraid that alcohol would release that into the general populace! I know sugar is horrible for me, but give me one vice for crying out loud! As far as the packing of the sand...who knows if it works, but it makes me feel better! Lol! Safe travels sir!

No I have not been on it but have watched a helicopter land on it several times and have been on the dock when parties were going on. When Tilman is in town, they bring the yacht in. Tillman has the leases for the restaurants there on the Pier 21 but the George Mitchell group owns the property and buildings. I use to be a contractor for the Mitchells. Glad you had some fun in Galveston. I lived there for maybe 10 years, worked there 13 years. Now in Oklahoma retired. Oh, yes Tilman has a Casino in Lake Charles Louisiana, one of the nicer ones. Hey! I was wondering what video editing software you use. Also, do you use any special software to help manage and organize all your video clips?
@LifeWithPaulLorena
7 жыл бұрын
Hi David! I use Adobe Premiere Pro CC to edit. Nothing special to manage clips. I date a folder by year, then place folders in that by month, and then folders by day inside that, then I drop all files from the various cameras, for that day, into the day folder. If I had to find a particular clip, I would have to remember the day it was shot and then search through them. It would extremely time consuming to label each individual file for easy search...i.e galvestonstrandcandystore1.mov, galvestonstrandcandystore2.mov. Of course, I have no clue what I'm doing so that doesn't help at all! Lol!
