Would like to know more about the truck. Saw that it was a manual in the “Solo” video. Good thing you got a 2004 5.9L so no emissions crud.

Feel free to ask away mate. happy to answer any questions :) She's a 6 speed manual 2004, Zero issues with the gear box and engine so far. her previous owner did a great job of looking after her despite almost being at 500k kms. We got it of an island in BC so Rust is minimal compared to some other trucks her age which has been good. Very hard truck to come by these days.

Hey guys, welcome to Canada! cool to see your fresh start over here. My family and I are in Southern Alberta, it would be really cool to run in to you somewhere. Banff and Kananaskis area are incredible for scenery. Great choice on the vehicle and camper btw.

You're very welcome, thank you for watching along! Its a 25c10.6, haven't added up the total cost of the camper with the extra work we've done and will have to do in the coming months just yet but we will do that in a future video for everyone. Maybe one day we'll make it the famous 66

Welcome to North America. Though I am in Central Texas. I have the same exact year and model Bigfoot. The differences though is i have a ac unit on top and where you have your batteries is where my 2500 Onan generator is, both factory installed. I installed a solar system, 4 100 watt panels on top 2 100 ahr batteries, 2000 watt inverter, dc-dc charger (all Renogy) and automatic transfer switch all in the closet near the door. Sitting on a 1999 Ford F350,crewcab, dully, 7.3 Powerstroke deisel, automatic with the tow package. Just wish it was 4wd but will make do. Happy adventures. Be safe.

You could get Quigley or some other company to do a 4X4 conversion to your truck.

Can I ask how much 20 year old camping equipment set you back?
@BigFootAdventurer
2 ай бұрын
Hey mate, thank you for the question. If you’re familiar with these set ups, a big foot camper holds its value despite its age. Same goes for the truck in its condition aswell. We will be making a video in the near future breaking down the costs because it’s more than what we thought we’d spend, especially on the little and essential things that have added up. 😅

Thanks mate, I’d say it’d be around 1.6ton fully loaded with the 2 of us in it. 1.1ton(2471 lbs) dry Holds 189L (50gallons) of freshwater Plus all our things and the new electrical set up is quite weighty

Thank you! So far it's been great mechanically! Just a few things we've had to replace but all of it just general wear and tear. Let's hope it stays like that eh
