Fantastic! Taiko is very popular here and we have several taiko groups here in Sacramento. I have a couple of friends who are performers-not just taiko, but Japanese traditional dance and singing, so I get to see some really cool stuff. We’re getting more and more live performances these days, so that’s exciting

The group size is not that big (around 10 performers?) but it was quite powerful. It reminded me of a scene like Samurai warriors are about to leave the castle to go out for fighting.

That was a deeply moving and beautiful performance! I really laughed at the slightly humorous dance that the middle row drummers did during this routine.

Hi Chako, Thank you so so much again. I commented already in the preceding video how moved I was by this performance in front of cherry blossoms. It made me realize how much I miss Japan and its culture. It’s been over five years since the last time I was there. Hope I can pay a visit pretty soon to have my Japanese food and culture fix. じゃあまた。 Shin from Colorado

This is so amazing. Even I have never watched a Taiko (太鼓) performance in my trips of Japan/real life, but it is an opportunity to watch one, as a signature entertainment in traditional festivals and shows.
