It's nice to see you haven't weathered it to the point of "overkill" when they end up looking like the plane has flown through a burning oil refinery or crashed into a swamp full of feces and then flown through a brick wall.

Those 5 thou (?) panel line ‘gaps’ equate to .005 X 48 or almost a quarter of an inch misfit at adjacent panels on a full size plane! you cannot see real flush panel joins from more than a few metres away. Gaps and misalignments such as seen in late WW2 German aircraft would be irregular anyway, if manufacturers could make perfectly uniform misfits they would instead make the panels uniformly fit! These canal-like trenches are as immediately phoney as the unfortunately common ‘soaked in filthy engine oil’ look. Many recent model images are instantly perceived as un-lifelike because real plane photographs never really show this way over the top and contrived look. The modern decal work is very good and is excellent on this model. Would you get onboard a plane with the inside structure visible where skin panels actually meet?
