You Sir are a pure Genius! From one Mobile rig welder to another… your truck is by far the best put together, and organized piece of artwork I’ve ever seen! I am waiting on my pipe liners cloud umbrella. Ordered it today.. I know how important it is to not get too hot.. out here in Oklahoma it gets hot all summer long as you know. I have been rigging my truck out slowly but surely. Constantly moving things around but eventually I know it will all work out. Much respect sir!!!

Beautiful truck and very well thought out. I've spent some time as heavy equipment mechanic and work up in the Pacific Northwest Industrial farming world with miles and miles of gravel dusty wash board maintenance roads. At the end of the day all my crap was bounced around with paint wore off and nuts and bolts scattered all over with tools shook apart and any written material a muddy soggy mess. Most all of my wrenches would be buried under said dust and debris. So ONE of my suggestions is to stay on the freeway. One of my earlier employers was so cheap that when I ask for a vise to mount to the service vehicle they refused. At the end of my employment with them I was reduce to using a half dozen five gallon buckets with "cheap" Chinese tools in the back of a half ton twenty five year old pick-up. I only hope you can get the hourly rate you need to be able to support the beautiful truck and new tools. THAT never happened for me! I changed occupations!!

Nice rig Man!!! You will get it all tuned the way you want it in time for sure. I hear ya on the amount of money you put into one to start with. It's ok to go cheap when you have to so you can get going. I've been very happy with Tidweld reels on both of my trucks. I recommend those when you get to it. As far as your coffee addiction goes.... I carry a Keurig Single Serve on mine!!! LOL!!! A real hot cup of coffee on a super cold Winter day goes a long way sometimes!!! You really have some nice and unique deals on your rig that I'm sure work well for you. That's the real deal there. Make it work for YOU and what YOU do!!! I always see people picking another's rig apart. They have no clue what they have it set up for. You clearly have it dialed and are open to advice. That is being smart right there!!! Kudos Man!!!

Buddy, this is slick. I'm geeking out about you geeking out. That clamping tab on the back driver side is slick. Can you talk about your clothing choices? I built a fence this summer and it was awful being in the garage and out in the heat fabricating and burying posts. I had to wash my work pants and welding shirt just about every day I worked due to all the sweat. Spent a fortune on pedialyte too.

@peetky8645
Жыл бұрын
you can make your own adult pedialyte equivalent with just sugar and table salt and tapwater.for near nothing, just the cost of a gallon jug to keep it in. Most of the cost of pedialyte is the sterilization heating at the factory and the transportation cost. pedialyte also contains some salts that you won't lose thru sweat, like potassium. Babies with diarrhea lose a variety that must be replaced as opposed to an adult who is just sweating.

Very good point, sorry I didn't mention it - there's one in the center console.

Appreciate the video! Your Rig is awesome. We are taking an old 2007.5 duramax and building a rig. But we are truly starting from bare frame. The truck has a CM bed. We will be putting a cummins engine in it. Hopefully we can organize it similar to yours.

That is one of the most organized welding rigs I’ve ever seen besides Issac’s , freaking awesome man I certainly dig it 🤙🏻🤙🏻😊

Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. It means a lot. I did take a lot of inspiration from him. As I said in the video he is definitely one. We could all learn some from.

I’ve been watching Issacs Chanel almost since the beginning and he is a master of his craft for sure 👍 I also subbed to yours because I really enjoy watching guys with their 💩 together that care about their appearance and presentation and not doing a quality job every time is not an option. I am a sponge for knowledge and apply bits and pieces of it or all of it to my own work and you guys don’t know how much I appreciate y’all sharing this information with us 😊😊

Is the Milwaukee Metal cutting saw just a normal circular saw?
@TempleThomas
Жыл бұрын
No sir. It’s specifically for metal. I do think people have used regular circlular saws and put a metal cutting blade on there. This is it. www.milwaukeetool.com/Products/Power-Tools/Metalworking/Metal-Cutting/2782-20

Yeah, pulling that lid off and freezing it every day before work. It’s just more work I have to do.

There's a lot of expensive stuff on that truck. I wouldn't want to to park it somewhere to eat and come back and it be bare bones. Plus a lot of that stuff is out in the weather, the sun and rain and seeing that a lot of stuff is plastic and not the best UV stabilized, I would see that also deteriorating things. What about a nice stout gooseneck enclosed trailer that of course piped the generator exhaust outside, but everything else on nice racks inside where you could get it. I mean you could have some panels on the side of the trailer where you can get at the front of your welder to make adjustments, but it would lock shut when you are done for the day? Goosenecks have better turning radius/harder to steal.

I actually had a trailer and was going to rig that out first but somebody jobsites I go to a trailer just won’t work. I have a covered area where it parks we’re not working and I keep it close by and keep my eye on it. I try not to stop anywhere I can’t see it.

@@TempleThomas What are your thoughts on converting one of those those larger used ambulances or tactical mobile command centers into a welding rig. It's hard to find them 4x4 but they do come up once in a while for a premium. Would be nice to put some sort of ramp door in the back to make it easier to wheel stuff in and out of the box in the back, plus it would make one helluva work table if you had some stout cables holding it up.

Well thought out, super clean layout, loved the improvised solutions like coffee holder, & 'Hreat-stuff mod' to the cooler, the upside-down upper box with the DIY gas-piston. Auto closing shelves, the remote locking mechanism is a brilliant idea too. One of the best dedicated rigs I've seen, thanks for sharing!
