This sounds pretty cool in Nightcore! This is my favorite FullMetal Alchemist theme.

Vanilla Squirtle Wow, really? That's shocking. I started watching it on Netflix but the app started messing up when I was halfway through so I finished it on Kissanime, this really cool anime website that's FREE and has like, everything. It's basically the next best thing to Cruncyroll, and the best part? No GameGrumps selling out to promote it!

lol xD I thought the same thing. Like who comes up with a mane for a band like that? o.o It's not my favorite song, but if it ever came up, I'd just say the first opening of FMA or something...^^'

fma 2003 is fucking badass and brotherhood is good i guess but 2003 is better. i personally dont read manga and i dont think anime should always follow the manga. somtimes its good to see our favorite moments from the source material in the anime but sometimes its cool to see what they came up with to differ the anime from its predecessor. Plus, this song is so much cooler than brotherhood's opening(the first opening should be upbeat and cheery, not dark and gritty. Fma Brotherhood, you'fre trying to be aot before aot existed!)

I like your opinion, I personally love both. Even though the second storyline was WAY better, I wish it had the bada$$ feel to it like the OG Fullmetal. Either way, I love both series!

I like it when an adaptation strays off the path a bit instead of sticking to the source material like a baby clinging to it's mother. For example, I enjoy the original Spiderman movies with Tobey Maguire more than the ones with Andrew Garfield BECAUSE they didn't stick 100% to the comics. It's the same reason FMA 2003 is so awesome to me when compared to Brotherhood. Because they did their own thing. Sure, I love the manga, but the anime should stand on it's own two feet instead of being the manga in animation.

Rocket Shark I think they chose a darker first opening because they did not have as much exposition in Brotherhood.
@rocketsharknightcore4024

ZenoDovahkiin so? that doesn't make up for it. "Uh, we're not explaining as much in this remake, so we'll make the theme song depressing. That'll fix it.". This is FMA, not Clannad. I don't want to feel depressed when I go to watch it. Also, i'm pretty sure the only reason they didn't explain as much in FMAB as they did in the manga and in FMA 2003 is because Studio Bones assumed everyone had already seen the original series and knew the basics of the overall story. Of course, this isn't the case for everyone and they should not have gone that route.
