Why did I return to Ukraine, was it possible to continue the journey without rebooting, what are the plans for the future? In this video I share the reasons why I had to come to Ukraine for a short time and solve some cases: family, health, gadgets, clothes, friends and fans - something could be solved at a distance, but meetings with people are online that's not it :)
In the video, I walk around the city where I once lived for 5 years and many times I enjoyed tourism in Lviv style. Lviv is a special city in my heart and here the reboot is especially nice. Lviv 2021 is not very different from Lviv 2020 or 2019, except that there are now many foreigners and several new institutions have opened, a fountain in front of the Opera House and Palace Square in front of the train station. But very soon a video will be released on the Nina Ukraine channel, where Nina and I talk to foreigners on the streets of Lviv, ask what they like in Ukraine and what they would advise those who go to Ukraine for the first time. The reasons for returning were understood, then I will tell you how I became a full-time traveler. I use this phrase full-time travel (sometimes non-stop travel, regular travel, travel on a regular basis) to separate my lifestyle from tourism, which Ukrainian travel bloggers usually show on their KZitem and Instagram several times a year. Digital nomad or digital nomad - a person who travels from place to place without returning home, all his life and work online, in digital format, not in the physical. This can be done by anyone whose work and income is done in a computer or other gadget and such a person chooses to live and work in different cities and countries instead of living and working from home.
So my history of digital nomadism began in 2020, although before that I worked remotely without an office all year, but for some reason sitting in a rented apartment in Kiev. A year later, I realized that it was easy to combine with travel and began my journey without a return ticket, in which I spent 12 months and during this time visited 14 countries, lived in some for a month or two. I have a video about all these countries on this channel.
If you are planning or dreaming about a lifestyle of travel, are interested in how digital nomads and nomads live, then I have some tips on how to start a long journey, perhaps a trip without a return ticket.
Basic tips:
- remote work, preferably with a flexible schedule (switch to remote work, agree with the company for some time on a flexible schedule, or move your hours of sleep and work depending on the continent);
- reduce or even cancel all expenses at home: rent, Internet bills, heating, etc. (use this money for rent, seven cards, etc. in other countries);
- choose the first country, buy a one-way ticket and pack a backpack with the necessary;
- Enjoy traveling and do not regret not taking an adapter or T-shirt, because it can be bought in a supermarket in any country.
My journey continues and under this video you can guess what the next country will be. The first to guess will receive a souvenir from that country.
Most likely it will again be a trip without a return ticket, the second season after a short reboot. There are many more countries ahead that I don't know about yet, so it will be twice as interesting. Don't switch!
