Great seeing the local area have visited all the Watagans spots and so surprised the plane is still there.

Thanks David. There's quite a few private property signs along the road where the plane is. I wonder if it is actually on private land....

Looking at the state Forest map most of that left side heading out to the lookouts is private property so I'd say it is.

Great video - those trails look great! I know what you mean about bike-fitness and how quickly you can use it! That's why I try to ride every day. I got myself a gravel bike and zip around the 'burbs. I just fitted some AliEx carbon wheels - so far so good!

Yeah, Awaba is a lot of fun. Always enjoy riding there. I should get out every day too. I'm too fussy about where I ride 😂 oh, and the weather. Carbon wheels sound good. I do tend to hammer mine pretty hard though....mainly due to my lack of control 😂

At 4:29 - you showed a map - and behind that was an Explorer motor home - one just like mine - I was in Wollombi yesterday - 11th as i was heading back to Kariong for my grandson's birthday. ( and was in Broke the previous night ) - I only have another month at best in the van as I have to sell it. - I will be back on the road as soon as a few more life crises have been overcome. Heading to the UK for more family crises - Keep up your good work on the channel - it is really good.

Hi Jason. I was hoping you might have detoured through my home town of Maitland. Alas, maybe another time. :) Thought you might be interested though to know that the little pub in Wollombi had water almost up to the underside of its roof line at the peak of the July 2022 floods in the Hunter Valley. The water level was lapping the bottom of the major road sign at the t intersection! Wollombi Brook becomes much more than a brook when it floods! Peter W.

Oh Wow! It's crazy to think of the volume of water that runs through these creeks. The guy at the Museum was telling me they just replastered the Courthouse because of the rising dap after the floods...No direct water in there but the foundations got soaked.

With such a big van what was your reasoning behind not having a permanent bunk set up. Bruce
@MakingStuffGoingPlaces
7 күн бұрын
Hi Bruce. I like to have a LOT of space and if I take up half the van with a fixed bed, it becomes a very tight space. As you've probably noticed from my videos, I don't sit outside, so having plenty of space inside is important to me. It's just the way I like to live 😊

Hi Jason. Not sure how else to contact you, so a comment here it is... I made a Super Thanks on this video a few hours ago and it hasn't appeared in the comments section (yet). They usually appear immediately. The comment I left along with the Super Thanks is not displaying in my YT comment history, so unsure what's going on. I received an email receipt, so Google has processed it and has my (your) money. I'll check again tomorrow, but can you reply to this comment if you receive the Super Thanks please. I'm not concerned about my comment displaying - I just want to ensure you receive the funds. Cheers mate.
