xv70 1 leaving it stock ( mufflers and cats ) keeps the existing exhaust flow obstructions there, causing slightly higher egts. When you straight pipe a 6.0, it lets the engine breathe better, it can get those hot exhaust gasses out better. It’s simple logic

Exultant Vid on full 6.0 fix. Only problem is that the more people wake up to the 6.0 reliability their price goes up. A full fix like this has put the value way up for your King Ranch. I had my 2003 6.0 fully BPD parts fixed years ago and I have had zero problems with towing my 16,000 Lbs 5th wheel for over 60,000 miles since the fix. My rig is at 180,000 miles. My next insurance for the 6.0 will be a Certec Liquid Moly oil treatment for the pistons, cam, rockers and crank surfaces. I went with a 4" turbo back straight pipe but installed the 50 series Flow Mater because on long trips it was too loud for conversations and peace of mind. I am an older fart though and if I was younger never would have heard much because of the AC/DC music full throttled. 7.3 Guys will still whine about it but that 6.0 is a much bigger beast and mods for it are staggering for huge power.

There's no such thing as having a 6.0 that is fully bullet proofed and reliable. I have plenty of videos to prove that on my channel. Both my 6.0s were done with the complete solution kits including a external oil cooler on the 04 king ranch. I still ended up having issues 30,000 miles into it. Take the $6-8,000 that your going to stick in a 6.0 and build a 7.3 you will have a truck that eats 6.0s,6.4s and 6.7s in the pulling department and it will last a million miles .I haven't seen or heard of any 6.0s 6.4s and very few 6.7s that make it to a million miles. It still has a little cruse speeds noise. But not a dronish tone.

Once you bullet proof these 6.0's they are one of the best diesel you can find.

Where did you guys find a king rack crew cab 6.0 with 140,000 miles for 5400 dollars? That truck should be at least 15,000.

"6.0 PS aren't reliable, it's like a ticking time bomb" Tears engine apart to find a near stock 6.0 PS with 144k miles on it I saw the last video where they had a 24 degree spread between temps, the unison sticking, etc.. guys, its a truck with damn near 150k miles on it.. its gunna show some wear on it. It's 17 years old, I would expect nothing less.. Also FICM showing 48v on their original. By all means, if you have the money to bullet proof for the peace of mind, do it. But 6.0's aren't as bad as everyone says they are, but that's good for the used market, Looking for one as I type this. Good video!

It is actually a 2005 or 2006 because of the headlights I have one identical to this and it is a 7.3L powerstroke diesel and it is not a 2003 But you could have put those on there but it is a 2005 or 2006 model year
