wow, just reflecting on when i came across this channel 4 years ago. I was in chronic pain, experiencing extreme fatigue, brain fog, gyn issues, and was depressed.I was in such a dark and scary place. Christinas message helped to save my life. Thank You Christina

wow, thats crazy. I did it for the healing benefits and it worked. Over time, however, I began incorporating cooked vegan foods (beans, grains etc.). It became difficult to maintain my weight as i could not consume enough calories needed on this diet. I also was trying to get pregnant at the time, and needed to make sure i was not under weight. I still follow her channel because I believe in the power of live foods. I do not advocate a completely raw food diet, long term. But hey, it seems to be working for some. Just curious, as to why you still watch her channel if her advice caused you candida and weight gain????

any beans that you sprout are healthy and non toxic. I have eaten sprouted chickpeas with yogurt and curry powder. It is delicious and makes a good substitute for tuna or chicken. If the beans aren't sprouted, they should be cooked slowly on a very low flame. A good way is to cook them on low in a crock pot overnight, but check to see if water needs to be added, as they will absorb while cooking, like rice.

We love you too Kristina you are so awesome sauce! Also to make the cashew cream more like a ranch tasting dressing you could have added some granulated garlic, black pepper, lemon juice, and fresh herbs like chives or maybe tarragon that would've been really good also but that looks so yummy especially with the apples I probably would have added green apples instead though and served it over a bed of kale.

I have enjoyed making several of your recipes and am newly transitioning to fully raw, however I cannot for the life of me figure out how you made those garbanzo beans mash... The video says soak overnight and then mash for texture but mine have been soaking for 48 hours and are STILL not mashable. So... I googled it ;) Everything I found said that it takes at least several DAYS for the garbanzo beans to sprout and I am assuming they become mashable at that point. My question is this... did you eat that recipe after you made it and if so, were your beans hard or mashable? Thanks for your time

she stopped mashing, and had them whole..... I believe its only mashable if you boil....but try blending it.. .or make hummus, its a raw recipe, so easy and mold them into patties...and dehydrate...gotta get creative...

I would cook or let the chickpeas sprout, but that's just me. oil free! omg thank you for making this oil free! this looks amazing. apples and grapes were always my favorite parts of real chicken salad. real chicken salad was the reason why I started reducing my meat consumption in the first place. it's so heavy and you really feel like you gain 5 pounds after eating it. My first veganiversary is coming up in April and I have yet to have that blugh feeling with any vegan food. 😄 never going back to lchf paleo. ever.
