It boggles the mind of having to assemble these rides and then having to disassemble them over and over each carnival season. I wonder about how much of a toll all this VERY heavy work does to the body over the years, especially the back. Kudos to all of these VERY tough and skilled workers. It is a job I could NEVER do! Cheers to all of you from New Mexico USA!!

Absolutely loved this, for me, it’s lacking 3 things! 1 it’s not longer! 2 wish it had more technical shots / ride workings! 3 Footage of the ride testing, seeing the ride being operated and or shown / explained how it’s operated! Things I loved is non of the stupid pointless filler banter! Loved the raw footage, not edited to make it look pretty, what you saw is what you filmed! I had 8 adverts injected during my watching of this video, usually I would give up watching and 👎 and move on, however, because of my likes, I stuck at it! Tip Top is one of my favourite rides ever and grateful for you taking the time to capture the footage you did, I like to think to left scope for part II!

Thanks bud glad you enjoyed it and I’ve taken note on everything you said. I wanted to get footage of the ride testing for sure but sadly on the day of filming the build up he was waiting on an electrician before any testing took place which was the next day. I’ll remove most of the ads when I get home from work unfortunately can only do it on desktop and not phone. Anyway once again thanks for the kind words.

Here in Indiana USA we had a version of TipTop called Force 10... the G force on it was insane it would be instant black out after half way in. Only seen it 1 year and went on it twice - 1st time blacked out 2nd time had to keep tapping on the restraints to stay alert.

Here in WI, back in the mid 2000s, we had one of these that was actually called "Black Out". The following year it had been renamed as the Force 10 in a new paint scheme, but the build number was the same.. I have pictures of the unit in both names. And definitely one of my favorites also..

TipTop is an awesome machine. Many years ago when I worked in fairgrounds (maybe 35+ years??) we took one to the big Guy Fawkes night in Glasgow. My day consisted of: - Build up & test runs - Washed, changed and fed! - Open for around 4 hours at night (and it was mobbed!!) - Pull down. - Home for some well-earned sleep. Was a long day, to say the least.

Nice little showcase of putting one of these together. Never really noticed how much effort had to go into leveling the platforms (which is kinda stupid of me). Cool to watch what goes into the ride assembly itself. Also, I won’t lie, I winced at 24:52 thinking, “Oh geez, glad nobody got hurt.” That could’ve been much worse than bumping the sweep arm behind him and knocking a single bolt off or something.😨 Anyway, you’ve got a sub from me for sure. Awesome video!

Great vid mate 👍 I used to work/help out with Stanley Thurstons funfair in Bedfordshire on his old Miami Ride Dance City it was the best time of my life I had a 9- 5 job then head down to the ground to work getting the punters on the ride , luckily for me on pull down night we where payed extra but the Miami was pretty much automated so only took an hour to pull down always helped out the other guys on Wyatts Invader as it was full on blood sweat tears for the boys Theodore Would also give me a bit of cash for helping 👍personally I would have done it for nothing as I love the funfairs ❤️👍 keep the great viids coming mate 👍
