I am so trying to get there flying in from the Central States. The only problem is I can't find a cheap flight in. I don't want a car.... just go there and chill out for 4 days.

Tony if you are still out there... I have my vacation times and I usually go to Vegas. I am thinking of going to Vegas in July so AC isn't an option there. What is the crowd, weather, etc like in October? I always travel solo if that's a thing.

A little bit sad that you didn't mention the Beatles appearance (Aug 30, 1964) at the Convention Hall at the peak of Beatlemania in 1964......RFK spoke there (3 days earlier!) at the Democratic Convention of '64....It was his first time addressing the public since his brother's assassination....He got a standing ovation which was said to be the longest in history at the time.....I saw Dorothy Hamill in an Ice Capades Show right after she won Olympic Gold...I had a first row seat and she stood right next to me waiting to begin her routine....I was 16 and had a crush on her!
