Great card, tips, techniques -- always learn something new or a great reminder. How precious to have your son on audio! At 28 minute mark, maybe card needs a little modification? (two "yous")? The layering stencils are very interesting! Always a great presentation, Jennifer.

Jennifer, I never ever have thought that your video tutorials were too long, for I completely enjoy seeing every example with your completed cards. I love your ideas and I appreciate so much all of your suggestions plus it’s joy to see how you work creatively. Thank you for making crafting so much easier and more fulfilling. I will always be grateful to you for showing me how to stitch patterns on cardstock from your first video I think in August, 2018 using the Paper Smooches stitching rectangle die. I was even able to later find that wonderful stitching bag through my local Christian bookstore, I absolutely LOVE IT! Their wholesaler had one bag left with several of the matching pouches and I bought them all and I love using them at home and when I am on the go. I have been stopped by people who notice the Bible verse on the front and are delighted to see it and it’s the beginning of often a lovely conversation! I am using the newer Spellbinders stitching plates but I really want to learn to create more intricate geometric patterns using for instance the Altenew Pegboard die and I have a smaller die with a cut edge in a rectangle, perhaps MFT? I have bought a couple of Stitchable Cards patterns from Waffle Flower, but I am really hankering to see a video tutorial from you on HOW TO CREATE geometric patterns using these die’s including some back-stitching details. I have seen your absolutely gorgeous patterns you create and you mentioned bringing out some downloadable patterns, and that would be one way for me to learn. I’m just a crafter who loves to stitch for relaxation and to help distract myself from very severe chronic pain from a disabling car accident. I started stitching on paper purely to make cards for my Mom, who is a master stitcher and I could tell that she wasn’t so keen on other cards I made for her until I presented her with a boxed set of 44 hand-stitched cards in A2 and A7 sizes and she was THRILLED!!! I enjoyed coming up with colour combinations (I am improving but could be better), but I can’t create these geometric patterns I see you creating. My brain needs some help! I am making these for myself and my loved ones, I have barely the ability to do this. I am hoping that you will provide some help to know how to build these designs with a video tutorial and perhaps some downloadable or another way to purchase your designs. I am not trying to take your designs, I just need some help to know how to create them. I was a full-time university professor until I had to leave due to my health. I’m so very grateful for this hobby to be able to create as I was a classical musician teaching and performing, which I can no longer do. Card-making gives my brain the joy of creating in a completely different way but very enjoyable and it means a lot to be able to give my mother something in her world, stitching, that she has praised and loves, something for us to discuss, which I appreciate! She has asked for another set of stitched cards and I would love to be able to create even a few geometric patterns, as I am happiest creating those. I apologize for the much too long note with more details than I intended. Hoping that this can be possible sometime it works best for you, with my gratitude. Have a very blessed and relaxed day, mine are more relaxed with much thanks to you for bringing stitching on cards into my life. With gratitude, Joanne L

This made me smile, so much! It reminds me of the conversations with my daughter. I’ve raised her alone, after her father decided he wasn’t ready after i was pregnant. It’s been the two amigos, for 25 years! Whenever I want another opinion, it is hers I trust above all others! Because I know it will always be an honest one, and she is also sometimes the one who stops me from over doing a piece of work (in my case a painting), she definitely is my less is more filter lol… I’ve only recently started making my own cards, so I’m uncertain of much of how I’m doing something (you the learning curve lol) of late, so I’m asking her opinion much more of late, 😀

Jennifer, again, you amaze me with your talents, skills, and overwhelming desires to share! I have a couple of questions about white gel pens. What kind do you use (it wasn't listed with the rest of your products)? How do you store it when you won't be using it for a couple of days?
