so, I can see your improvement with every song. the rhythm has definitely improved since cowbell demon and its all in key. I would suggest, for phonk at least, add more distortion to the kick; this can be done using a saturator by increasing the drive, or a clipper by making it super loud and reducing the clip threshold. I would also mess with compression, a common multi-band compressor type is OTT, which was originally a preset of Ableton's Multi-band compressor, but you can get a free one made by Xfer (same guys who made serum) that will work in any DAW if you where to group the kick and snare, and slightly soft clip it it makes a really nice punchy crunch, which can be used in all sorts of genres if done correctly learn to use EQ, that will be the most useful skill for mixing you can learn, keep going! I started out making phonk three-four years ago and its one of the easiest to learn the basics of production! :3

i will need to use a different thing to record my music as bandlab is kinda useless. thanks for the recommendations though, will consider all this in future.

@@aft3rl1f3onbl oh! Ok so ableton (what i use) has a 90 day free trial of the suite version, that can be restarted by logging on with a separate e-mail! Thats what i suggest
