This used to be one of my best songs while growing up, even though I didn’t fully understand what it stands for. It depicts hope and i pray for the greatness of this country even as everything looks gloomy. Its a trying period for us as a country at this moment. We shall definitely see bright light at the end of this tunnel. I miss home.. love from the United Kingdom 😢

This song brings tears 😭 to my eyes in 2023 knowing how hopeless the situation in Nigeria 🇳🇬 has gotten. Back when this song was released in the 80’s or 90’s we had hope then that things would change, but I knew way back then that it would get worse that’s why I moved out of Nigeria 🇳🇬 since 2006 and living in Europe. Nigeria 🇳🇬 will never change only complete disintegration will save those trapped 🪤 in that contraption sadly most Nigerians still can’t see it in 2023…

This song makes me fall in love with Nigeria ..over and over again. I remember listening to this song as a kid. The Nigerian dream we all envisioned, has been bastardized by our leaders(past and present)

Such a beautiful song that was sung for our beloved Nigeria,a country that has been raped, bruised and battered by our evil leaders with no remorse.it breaks my heart that Nigeria is still drowning and till today we don't have or we refused to allow a credible leader that will deliver Nigeria from drowning or should i say deliver Nigeria that is completely drowned with hardship, unemployment, lack of infrastructure, bad economy, bad leadership etc.God bless Nigeria.
