try contacting a local lions club if you’re able to! i’ve met some of the volunteers for a lions club in diamond valley, VIC and they’ve done things from cleaning drive ways to repairing front doors for seniors and veterans. not sure if this will be useful but i hope it can help, my mother also lives in housing commission and i understand how frustrating it can be.

Costs the Australian Taxpayer over $250,000 a DAY just for the Politicians to show up for the 18-20 sitting weeks of Parliament. That is not including their staff, security, all the other administration and turning the lights and Aircon on. And this is what we get?
