Great video. I always thought that Fur Elise would be super hard. Thanks for breaking it down for us. Question, if you are on "E" and go down a half step, isn't that a D flat? Rather than a D sharp.

Hi! Great question. When you go down a half step (the black key immediately to the left) from "E", that key is called either E flat or D sharp. Every black key on the piano has two names. In this context, I call it D sharp because of how the music keeps going back up to E. Sharps suggest an upward motion, whereas flats would pull you downward. I hope that makes sense?
