Thanks again for another book review video. I have been collecting a few of these myself since you started these reviews. My interest is math 1st, but I have taken nearly every available physics class my college offers as it helps keep me focused on the applications of mathematics.

Without the applications math is not too much. Newton invented calculus to figure out orbits.

I had no idea and was unaware that physicists hated and disliked redundancy so much and to this extent. I'll make sure and be certain to never and at no point repeat this mistake and error.

For the doctoral thesis in GR I just submitted, I found the easiest way to use the Hubble parameter was to cite the Hubble length from the Particle Data Group. I'd set c=1 but plugging in c's is easy.

My advisor wasn't too fond of it either. It's actually the book I had to use to first learn GR but to do use I ended up getting a bunch of supplementary texts from Dover. This was back before the days of the internet of course. At that point, I ended with a M'Sc. only.

the only good thing about schaum’s is they never ramble but thats it the problems are many and without value So really you just have a terse book with not very impressive explanatory or referencing power with a bunch of basic problems overall i rate as “bad” . Not as bad as the big thick useless essay compilations that teach “general physics” lol. Go straight to modern references in the theory you want to learn. people have this ingrained fear that they won’t understand anything. Its not true you will. Just read it

Hello sir , I just wanted to ask one more question again. My family conditions are enought for some education materials. And from my point of view just because you opened this channel for people to learn better.I asked before about oxford handbook of history of physics before. Now the thing is im searching for Fundamental and chronological , and if happens to be most illustrated book set for learning. The language must be simple for the most stupid person on the world would understand.Rather than working for exams , i just want to learn about it.Im not engineer , i plan to be an scientist.Like the book set of germans which they wrote in couple of lifetime for put a understandment on topic.I can learn any language for this , i can collect money what ever , just show me the direction for it. I asked you this because you look like kind of person who wouldnt act high upon people, opened this channel, old enought to have some wiseness ,correct me if i am wrong but you studied MIT (i just look at realistic way correct me if i am wrong and im just generilazed it) and read a lot of books to criticize this topic. im just a Turkish learner who happens to be studying in china.I guess i was lucky that i seen this channel somehow. And i know its good because it doesnt have that much subscribers. thank you so much sir hope you have a good day.

Dermot, the Demystified Books you cite are pitched too high for people who don't have Degrees in Maths and Physics with too many Typos..so I'm surprised you rate them!..I think the Schaum Books are my Favourites American Books because they solve problems and explain ideas better than most
