In regard of Investments, i suggest to create and organize a public Investments platform specifically for Fusion Industry Investment, like a Crowdfunding Or similar, with many small investors capital broadwide around the World, that want to contribute to these projects. Specifically i will search for a way to invest a little capital on a specific Company that i like the most and that i understand the basic Physic principles, because i follow this sector for years now. And thank to your channel and FIA i can learn more on this sector and the projects and companies involved.

When I was working at a pharmaceutical RnD and production company, a colleague (an esteemed scientist) always told me never to repeat a successful experiment. Lest you fail. His sense of humour went hand in hand with his scientific thinking.

STEP is certainly impressive, but comparison to the Apollo program is disingenuous. When Apollo was announced in 1961, if Kennedy had said "We will land a man on the moon by 1990", people would've thought he was making a poor joke. No government backed program moves quickly, but a greater sense of urgency may be needed for STEP to remain relevant. Especially if private backed efforts begin to show significant results.

As a observer of the US scene I would have to advise Europe and Canada to simply build their own fusion. The US Conservative party is owned toenails to dandruff by oil companies and other groups that are incredibly wealthy by simply doing the same thing year after year while their representatives in the US Government work night and day to protect things staying the same. A reading to the history of US fusion efforts shows major cutbacks in these developments at a regular basis. Our Southern neighbor would not be doing anything towards fusion if it did not relate to atomic weaponry (they do live in fear of some other political system taking a little bit out of their pot which forces them to stay armed to the maximum). Between the Russian and American oligarchs the future is very likely in the hands of Europe, China and Japan

The US is party to ITER, has domestic public tokamak projects, and a thriving private fusion industry. That's the same situation (if not better) than the countries listed.
