Hi Matt, big fan of yours here from the Autodesk Academy, keep up the great work and I'd love to see more latticing videos!!

Thanks Nabil! It has been a busy year but I am hoping to dedicate some more time to make content for this channel in the coming months. I have several courses planned and will be covering some more blender and hopefully get to do a full Fusion to Blender for rendering video.

@@LearnEverythingAboutDesign I'd love to see more about bridging tips and tricks from Fusion to Blender its actually the workflow I use for my renderings, and sometimes surface texturing, it would be great if you could make a video on texturing imported surfaces in Blender

@@NabilBennaniKerrout Thanks for the comment Nabil! Is there anything specifically in your workflow? Are you using custom bump/relief mapping in Blender or are you just interested in transitioning a design from Fusion to Blender and just adding any appearance?

@@LearnEverythingAboutDesign Hi Matt, mainly I export fbx to blender for rendering purposes and applying different materials. But I'd very interested in using geonodes for applying different lattice and structures for 3d printing. I always wanted to dig into this idea, but had nowhere to start, neither the time to research this

@@NabilBennaniKerrout Great info Nabil! I just started a new series going from Fusion to BLender where i talked about 3mf and obj formats and the differences. I plan to do another video talking about stl and fbx. FBX does seems to be the best option even though Fusion really doesn't carry animation data. It seems to have the best translation of mesh resolution and materials. My hope is that with the Fusion updates in Additive manufacturing that we will soon see real lattice generation come from NetFab into Fusion. I will play around some more with lattices and see if i can figure out a more uniform way to do this.

tks for the vid, but suggest you focus on the topic of your vid and get to the point. users who are doing cell fractures might already know how to do basic navigation. go in depth on the subject you are discussing

Thanks for the comment! This little series was meant for Fusion 360 users who haven't used Blender much if at all which is why i spent time on basics. This series is pretty old/outdated at this point so i will likely pull it down. Happy modeling!
