Really well done ! The lead player was great...the trumpet section "voicing" was right on .Best section, playing our music, that I've heard.Ted Piercefield (original Chase band member).

I was born in 1962 and grew up playing the trumpet.... Needless to say, Bill Chase was a HUGE influence on me. By the time I started high school, I was lead trumpet in everything from marching band, orchestra and , my favorite, jazz band. I can honestly say, you all absolutely and utterly KILLED IT in this performance.... Big KUDOS to the lead trumpet.... That brought back so many memories for me 🎺 🎶 👍

I REALLY wish that Disney had kept these guys going in perpetuity. There’s something truly special about the uniqueness of some folks who’ve been through the American DCI system, have “aged out”, and whose chops are now perhaps even BETTER than when they were marching in DCI competitions. I believe that these guys EMBODY that extremely rare gem.

I can personally attest to this. I had chops when I marched, but even one year after I aged out, I hit a different gear. Pretty unfortunate timing there.

I would absolutely love to perform with a group like this. It's so unfortunate that they're long gone now. Small group of winds and percussion doing some drill and playing some music in a small area sounds like so much fun.

This is Anaheim CA. I stumbled on this group in Aug. 1995 while visiting for the first time since "Grad Night" in 1984. I attempted to transcribe and arrange a tribute with my high school trumpet section when I was a senior; "Hello Groceries" was the most straight-forward. I ended up a freshman at CSU Long Beach where I learned about former music majors who successfully auditioned for and were hired by Disney to perform live in both parks

just imagine a 60-70 man hornline with those old bugles? a line talented as this would just blow people out of the grand stands during a drum corps show
