The composers were like "Dude, let's make the most memorable music of the 2000's." A pair of animators at the table next to them overheard and were like "Dude, why don't we make the most memorable music videos too while we're at it?" Thus, Animusic was born.

I have all the Animusic DVDs and this is probably one of my most favorites. I love that kinda 80's sounding rock/metal of this plus those lasers are just so friggan cool. The first time I've seen any Animusic was seeing "Space Groove" from Animusic 2 being demonstrated on a home theater setup that was probably north of $100K, and holy crap, was that friggan incredible! Completely blew me away, and that was back in 2005. Of course, I immediately had to get the Animusic DVDs and try it out on my own HT setup. Even at 53 now, this still totally blows me away and also neat seeing some others attempting to create their own Animusic-like videos. Shame we will probably never see an Animusic 3, though.

According to the New York State Division of Corporations, State Records, and UCC, Animusic is still an active domestic limited liability company and is registered to an address in Cortland, New York. The status of Wayne Lytle is publicly unknown, however, the Cortland property that the limited liability company is registered under has been sold as of November, 2021
