Glad to see another one flying, thank you for sharing the video! For launch you might try holding it at nose section, in my experience it gives a little bit more consistent launch.

Thanks, I'll try the nose launch next. Holding by the tail is a bit hit and miss and you cant get much power in the launch. I just recognised your name and realised you are the designer! Great work on the design, what an amazing and fascinating model! Great fun to build too. I'm using a Byme-D flight stabiliser which is a very cheap option and seems to work very well. It's tny too so fits in the model with room to spare. Only problem is that the Byme has non-adjustable gains. Only way to change the gain is using linkage geometry. I found the standard control surface horns were a bit short resulting in a slight pitch oscillation. A longer horn effectively reduces gain and it then works perfectly.

I tried the nose hold launch.. Much better, thanks for the suggestion.

What is the flying weight of your wing? I have the same wing and I concerned of the flying weight.

wow! how much "flight controller smarts" does this have??? looks pretty stable for no vertical stabiliser!!

it's got a cheap 'Byme-D' flight stabiliser. it flies ok without the stabiliser turned on but Dutch rolls a bit unless you are very smooth on controls.

Wellll it flies . But in all seriousness: What advantage (if Any ?) does a pure wing give over the typical planform that 99.99% of aircraft use. Prandtls notions are 100 years old. More than ample time for their merits to be evaluated .. and superceeded
