@@recklessjunkie lol it’s been a long wait. That’s awesome I got mine on Wednesday you will have to let me know how ya like it and what ya think of it. I was on the edge of getting one had I known it doesn’t come with the carbon fiber tube that it’s not even a thought right now i wouldn’t have done it. Pretty frustrating i have a rifle with a 230 fill and that part isn’t available.

@@Competitiveairgunning frustratingly long wait! I knew I wasn’t gonna be a part of the first batch of preorders but maybe the 3rd 4th batch of I guess you can say like a non preorder costumer “walk in” buyer but I think they had enough left over from the fist batch that I could actually snag one i remember first seeing the teaser trailer and then the short video revealing it and going to airgun nation and letting everyone know f-class John just got the price from Utah airguns owner Justin at shot show and letting everyone on airgun nation know it was gonna be just under 3k that was months ago haha yeah I knew I was gonna get one as soon as a saw it. Now yeah there’s a few things I don’t like about it you mentioned a couple already I think the carbon Air cylinder is scrapped reason I think this is because it’s probably dangerous have you ever seen a carbon wrapped tube before? I’ve never seen one. It’s probably unsafe but then again it could come out and I’ll be wrong. Second I did have to buy an angled monomer bracket and gauge and install it but you have to drain the complete rifle from unscrewing the pressure gauge and back off the reg like the other guns for plenum side and also pull out this rubber stopper under the set screw one the plenum they don’t mention any of that. Another thing weird is the baby cocking handle I put on one from an m3 I had laying around can’t believe they would ship the pro without a bigger cocking handle? And then the actual block looks to be a fx dreamline block I own one and it’s pretty damn similar that throw lever is so long it’s smooth but long and then the mini mag feels elcheapo haha not a fan oh also be careful they loctite the hammer spring adjuster and it’s on there mad tight just hit it with a torch but be mindful of orings.. but honestly I can get past all that because as long as I can blast 34 gr zans at a thousand I’ll be happy the chassis is the bread and butter it’s very nice I will be fine tuning it and building it up over the year and making it my own so far It seems to shoot.I only put 30 or so down it so far and so far and it’s grouping so I’ll let you know here an there how it gos I’m a big fx freak so Im hyped on it. the price stings but I had to have it haha thanks for showing us what you’ve been up to on this channel I’ll be dropping by to check out the videos I appreciate them btw have a good one alright.

@@recklessjunkiethat’s spot on exactly how I feel about it as a package. Some of the stuff I didn’t mention you nailed. I wish the magazine was wider not sure why it’s narrower than the pantheras. I’m not sure on the carbon I’d really like to hear some kind of update. I know their sponsored shooters been flaunting them on their channels for months and I’d bet their winnings at RMAC they was using the carbon tubes they been showing off in those videos. My friend on his first fill forgot about the fill pressure and sent his to 300 bar lol. I said at least I know I don’t have to worry about it blowing up if I forget. The 34’s are a solid option and weight. Really can’t go wrong with them plus they give you a very nice shot count.

@@recklessjunkieforgot to mention the amount of people I’ve heard complain about the price done know what a chassis costs and how deep you can get with a custom rifle. Appreciate you following along. If you want me to touch on anything in the future just let me know. As long as I got some knowledge on the topic I’ll do a video.

I’m praying we get that carbon tube the extra 20 bar does make a difference it’s a killer seeing that gauge drop so far from the first shot. JESUS 300 BAR! That’s Lethal!!! lol and you said it exactly they really don’t understand how much a proper competition rig can cost like a fully custom 22lr or centerfire set up way more money they act like how dare fx put out such a gun at that price they just have to be ignorant or uneducated or something the hate is crazy man like the m4 launch videos comments like mad negativity it’s like are these people stupid or jobless kids they don’t know basic business it’s weird man theres definitely things I’m not crazy about but like bitching about o-rings failing like do they not understand the pressures were dealing with they act like it’s only fx guns that need maintenance if you ask me it’s the airguns of Arizona haters the daystate brocock guys hating on FX owners because they want they’re beloved airgun company to be the best idk I can go on haha I better not have a good night

She looks nice! I really like that chassis. My Panthera shoots 34 grain Patriots really well! I just got a Presslug in to make my own slugs last weekend. I'm still trying to dial it in, but it's going to be a game changer. You need to check out swaging your own slugs too! How is the trigger on the DRS compared to the Panthera? I've adjusted my Panthera trigger down to a single stage, but I still need to probably take it apart and polish it a bit. I still don't have it quite as light as I like for competitions. Thanks for the review!! Good luck with the new rig!

@@haroldrushton6735 it’s a looker for sure. Awesome to hear on your panthera, then things are hard to beat. Especially once you dial it in and customize it to fit how you shoot. I got a press high on my list, you’ll have to let me know what ya dial in on. If you have the dies I’ve had good luck with mid 30’s boat tail hybrids that a friend has made for me. Making them hybrid boat tails stretches them just a bit longer. They loved the 34HN tune I had and seemed to fight wind better than the dish base I was shooting. I haven’t adjusted the trigger pull yet but out of the box it felt pretty good for the practice I was doing. I’ve only had it out maybe 4 hours and I was messing around with 3 different slugs as I tuned it to see how they reacted. I don’t blame you on the stage 1 deletion, I know I’m gonna irritate someone with this but I’m not a fan of two stage triggers I’d rather have one break and be done. It’s good to see these rifles being built where they are able to be set up to fit the shooter vs that one size fits all mindset.

@@Competitiveairgunning - I've had good luck with both H&N 30 grain and Patriot Javeline II 34 grain in my Panthera. The design of the factory dies from Presslug is similar with a concave base. I shot a local match last weekend with the Patriots and they did a good job ringing steel out to 184 yards. I will be experimenting with some different die designs too. The ogive of the factory die is slightly more pointed than the Patriot design. So, I'd like to try a a few different dies to see what works out best. I'll let you know how it goes. I definitely like the fit of FX rifles! That is very important in NRL22 & PRS for sure. That stock on your DRS is sweet! They did good working a deal to use that stock. I ended up adding a 12" section of brass to my front rail and I added a second, lower Arca rail as well. That really helped with the balance. I think balance is the biggest thing they could have improved on the Panthera.

@@Pixel-Shooter it’s definitely like no other Airgun I’ve handled yet. Looks and feels like half the rimfire rifles I shoot against every weekend.
