that was the best 12 minutes of blowing I have ever heard. ever bar interesting, swinging. look at these guys listening , George yanking around with the time to make it swing ever harder, Joe playing flawlessly brilliant ideas, and swinging hard.....play more blues, on this level of swing, my young up and comers, and I will be a believer...

Both are amazing sax players and musicians- but a fast blues is Adams’ territory, no contest. Props to Lovano for even trying, and he played beautifully

+videolover61 you are bugging out my friend. George doesn't hit any of the changes.. and you can hear the piano player is having difficulty matching up with him and also the drummer isn't doing nearly as much communication as he did for Joe. Joe was giving the rhythm section much more to work with in my opinion.

Joe uses his time and his ability to groove to bring the band to him. It becomes a unit with direction. George is all about energy and using the tenors effects to that end. ...I prefer swingin' .......The audience seemed to have a great time so WTF.......!

they both killin. choose your poison. whisky or bourbon. Pils or Weizen. George or Joe. All good to me. Depends on my mood and the weather. Today, snowed in, in Berchtesgaden, Joe is on fire and talking to my need for warmth. But George is blowing the straight ahead cobwebs out my brain and leading me to some abstract paths. All good. All swinging. All interesting. All many many levels above anything I ever played.

adams always plays the same solo everywhere and all the time: screams, random phrases without any respect for the context and the other musicians. He is a lousy musician, like many in jazz, a music where crooks of his kind can make a career without any respect for the listener.

Enjoyed Lovano way better. Adams likes to squawk and squeal way too much.. especially at the end.Lovanos sound more full. Adams too bright.

That was a lousy comment about George Adams. You are probably not half the musician you claim George Adams isn't. You have no respect hiding behind your phone texting this kind of ignorance. You should be silent. The hate is real with cowards. George is King of that ax. Joe Lovano is also great. Hateful comments & jealousy. It's just pure improvisation of jazz.

Can’t make out most of the ideas that George is playing. Very wild from the start. Hard to make the solo reach a peak from there.
