Thanks dude, feels good to be back. I've been working a ton the last few months and just haven't had much time for YT projects. It sucks because now I have the extra cash for PC parts but no time to build one lol

Its looking good my friend. Glad to see you posting again. I have been working on a MacPro Case conversion myself. Got to love these old cases from apple.

Sorry for the late reply MH. My life is very busy right now but posting videos and chatting with you guys is a great stress reliever! That's cool that you are converting the MacPro, how is it going so far?

@@PimptatoPCs No worries. Life can be very busy and i understand that. As for the case its has been going decently well. Got a MATX motherboard mount set in the case with the back i/o plate. Was able to keep the original fan grill which i think is pretty good looking. IF only i can post pictures in the comments.

It's good to hear that it's going "decently" well =). That's all you can ask for when modding PC's. I should have used an mATX rear I/O so I could try to preserve the original fans, but I already had the HAF932. I really didn't want to buy an mATX case just to cut it up. I'm sure it would have been a lot easier to fit it in the G5 though. Shoot a quick video and publish it on your channel =D

Nice, I'm glad you like it Penguin. This is the first time I've ever messed with a G5. It's been lots of fun and I've gained a new respect for these old Apple designs. I might try to sell it after I'm done with the water cooling and making YT videos with it! Thanks for watching dude!

How's it going Jangle? It's good to be back! I actually took apart an EVGA 750W ATX PSU and stuffed it in the old G5 PSU case. I was a little surprised that it fit but it worked out pretty well.

I was reading a thread about G5 conversions and someone said that they had done it, so I gave it a try. I wanted to make sure I had plenty of power for whatever parts might be swapped in or added so I got a 750W'er =) I filmed the process and will be posting a video of it eventually.
