Nishat Singh I think she meant Northern slope (when we stand in UP look towards tibet) is steep, which is actually southern part of himalayas. Hence, in the slide, Southern face is Steep. and Southern Slope/side acc to her (When stand on Tibet look towards himalayas) is Gentle, which is Northern Part of Himalayas. So,in the slide, Northern face is Gentle.

Doubt and correction: The first slide- during Pre-cambrian eon there was no PANGAEA as such, it was a supercontinent called RODINIA- which broke up during Palaeozoic 'era' into what we know as Pangaea and during Mesozoic (jurassic era) it further drifted apart into Laurentia and gondwana. Hence, the map that shows at 1:17 is of Pangaea which formed millions of years after Pre-Cambrian era, somewhere in Permean age (Palaeozoic) roughly before Jurassic era begun.
