I trust the wireless technology but let me put another aspect into the game. That is the durability of the mouse. G502 doesn't have secured lock on its microusb cable - and as we all probably know, the microUSB port is very common to break if the connector wiggles in it a lot. Also G502 and many other mice contrary to older PRO mice have now a rubber grip. The rubber grip tends to disintegrate after 2+ years. I have like 10 mice at home and even these I haven't ever opened have this sticky rubber issue. So for me it's always stay away from rubber. This is 100% a case with G502 if you searched for used versions.

i really love how well the g502 responds to my clicks and the fact that it's so customizable compared to all the mice i had before, but sadly it's not really an upgrade when it comes to comfort because my hands are so much bigger that i tend to use my fingertips to move the mouse unless i feel like arching my hand up to fit it on the mouse the proper way.

I'm going for the G903 because I prefer ambi mouse more than ergo mouse. I tried the G203 but ended up being kinda uncomfortable because it was woo small since my hand is 19.7cm long and my grip is a claw-palm hybrid. Since the G502 and the G Pro Wireless are kinda expensive the G903 was the best option out there worth to try.

I had the original G903 and what you say about the right mouse button "letting go" while holding it down happened to me, as well. Thankfully, it was still under warranty, so I just contacted Logitech and told them about it and said I wanted a new one sent to me. They didn't argue the fact (likely because they know about the issue) and sent me a brand-new upgraded Lightspeed G903 model within about 2 weeks. They didn't even ask for me to send in my old one as proof. So, while there may be an issue with the right button on the older G903s, the newer Lightspeed models may have remedied that issue. But since I just received it yesterday, I can't say for sure. Perhaps others can comment if their Lightspeed version has encountered that issue.

I have this exact issue but with the wireless 502, for me it happened after a month or 2 with the right click randomly, and after 3'ish months it was constantly where-after the left click also began to fail me. I googled this issue and apparently more people than just me have it. I went back to the wired g502 I still had where after 3 years it still works perfectly. Full disclosure, the problems started occurring for me about 2 weeks after my cat knocked it on the floor, but as a quick google showed this as a common issue I had lost faith in using the wireless further.

I'm sending back my G602 for the G502 because of the exact same issue dude was having with the G903; that damned rt click not staying down. I'm playing Cyberpunk and my scope goes in and out over and over making it sooooo hard to actually enjoy playing. That and the sensor lag makes it unusable in or outside of gaming. Glad to know it's a Logitech issue and not an I'm-a-moron-who-doesn't-know-how-to-use-a-mouse issue.

Came from MX Master 3, had been using it heavily for over a year now, and decided to swap for something more gaming-friendly. Went for G903, mainly because the G502’s shape… is pretty ugly and I might not need that many buttons, although it might have better ergo generally; and I really need that free scroll wheel for office use, so sorry GPW… If I need some ergo gaming mouse like the G502, I would probably go for the Basilisk in that case, just to have a more mouse-like thing on my desk rather than a Gundam’s control stick.

The 903 first version has serious button issues. The new (hero) version is not all that different. honestly, I think they just put it out and added the Hero in order to avoid a recall on the original which they know is faulty or will fail. This is just bad business practice and if the original fails after two years they won't replace it. All I have to say is class action lawsuit anyone? Logitech you need to do better and a discount code is not doing better.

I just got the G502 Lightspeed mouse, and not had any other G502. They really should had added 3 scroll sensitivity option on this, then it would been perfect. They should added a sensitivity in between the spinning and the kind of harder scroll options. I see how the eternity spinning option is very nice in some circumstances. But the other option is kind of harder one to get used to, you have to use a little force to scroll, and its a noisy one. I suppose the rubber makes it better than the metal wheel they had before. The strong point with Logitech is the macro and all different buttons you can assign etc. Their beast on that. Not sure about this yet, but it seams as you can combine a G-shift key if you have logitech G keyboard. You can have that one G key on your logitech keyboard double the amount of functions you mouse have. Say you hit that G key, then the side key on your mouse get another function as you have programmed it. If you release that G key, your back to your standard functions. If that so, its genius. The battery last forever, several days. Do you forget charging, you just connect the usb charger wire to your mouse, and it is like a wired mouse while you charging. Its charged from the usb on the computer. What I cant understand is why dont every mouse makers make the right click a little more firm, then you actually could rest your fingers on the right click button without risking clicking it with an accident all the time. Its like you need to hold your fingers up to make it lighter, because if you relax your finger on it you risk clicks the right button. The left click button is just fine as it is. You can do a home solution to get the right click button more firm. Stick a paper, not to tick or to thin, under the right click button to firm the right click button more. Get the right thickness and its not to hard hitting the right click button, and the same time you can actually rest your longest finger on the button.
