Residents of Gabazi at Qumbu in the Eastern Cape have accused the OR Tambo District Municipality of negligence. They say they've been without clean drinking water for nearly two years. The residents say they used to source water from nearby villages but taps there have also run dry. This is after water projects in their area left them with no supply. According to the residents, what they are subjected to is inhumane.
SABC News Reporter Lwandile Mbulali visited Gabazi village and filed this report.
