So people say “how dare she,” “life was good when celebrities kept their lives private.” If she says nothing about anything people will say “she thinks she’s perfect,” or “she’s so un relatable.” Some Internet patrons cannot seem to understand that celebrities are human. Internet patrons take all negative aspects about a celebrity and makes it their entire personality. Also this push that a sector of black women have to push hyper femininity onto every women. Without acknowledging that not every woman wants to be that. It’s great if you do, but it’s unnecessary to force this narrative on every women. This is a really interesting vid - thanks Empressive! You continue to maintain really high standards of research and collation for these vids. Keep it coming! I think none of us will ever really get close enough to Gabrielle to learn what she is really thinking and why she has made the decisions that she has. Hopefully, despite all of the criticism, knockbacks and worries, there is at least a part of her that is happy with her life, and if not, hopefully she can release herself from the things that are bringing stress and pain and finally be free. There's something I don't understand with the American life style, especially the Black community (I'm black but I was born In France) Why do you jump on people to tell them what to do with their money? And also why is it so shocking the 50/50? Yea, he makes more money and ? Their vision is to be equal. In France money is taboo, you don't talk about it in public, so this is why I'm confused by the amount of people telling a grown woman what to do or not with her money and her marriage ._.

She’s damned if she does and damned if she doesn’t. People “pick up on” a mean girl energy only because she said she had it in the past. She’s honest about herself highs/lows. Every human being has both masculine and feminine energy within them. Be whatever YOU want. Gabriella chooses to be more masculine, because it’s HER choice.

She said ‘ like my dad whoever gets the most money does what they want’ so it goes deep deep deep she equates money to power in a relationship. So I guess in her mind if she lets Dwayne do more financially then he has the upper hand. Which is obviously false because he still cheated, did her dirty many times. I kind of feel bad for her in the sense that she’s clearly dealing with unresolved issues that go back to the dynamics between her parents. They thought her how love functions and she probably needs to let go of all that! But it’s easier said than done.

Gabby has an aggresive A-type personality. Her thought process seems to be based on pragmatism and not emotion. She does what makes sense to her regardless what other people think. When it comes to her marriage, she may view it as more of an equitable partnership with the long game in mind, so she's willing to deal with what comes with it. If something happens with her marriage, she won't be a lost fish flapping out of the water because she's been a kept woman all these years. She'll easily rebound. Women who operate with a business-like, linear prowess are often ridiculed, while men are celebrated. She probably isn't the easiest person to deal with but if it works for their marriage, and they accept one another for who they are, then so be it.

I mean growing up BOTH of my parents had jobs and both of them always had their own money, to me it just made better sense to do it like that. That way if someone loses their job the other can take care of everything else until the other one gets back on their feet again or if they separate they’ll still both have money in their pocket. It’s just really sad to me that there’s women out there who have dreams, career goals, ambitions and they’ll stop everything just because they get married and have children (not saying all women will do this but some) and it has nothing to do with being in competition with your spouse especially with “who makes the most money” (you shouldn’t even want to be in any competition) it’s just simply about having your own. Your own money, your own goals, your own interest, your own hobbies etc. and if your partner/spouse is not supportive of them or is holding you back in any way LEAVE THEM !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
