Very helpful and educational video on some of the essential tools and technique of the craft! It's a pity English subtitles are not available though, would have really helped with the details and nuance. One question though, @10:50 does it matter that the Tokonole does not cover the entire surface before burnishing? Or is it OK as long as at least most of the surface is covered? Put in another way - what is the purpose of spreading Tokonole and burnishing the entire surface? (sorry if it's already explained in Korean). 😊

Just paint the TOKONOLE as much as the leather to be used. TOKONOLE makes the rough side of the leather smooth. hope it is some help.

@@navicoleather Thank you, that was a helpful guide. But I notice in this and some of your videos, not all of the leather is completely covered in Tokonole. Is this still OK? Also, what is the best tool to burnish large surfaces like the back of a leather panel? 감사합니다 😄
