Good video mate of how to build up the tunnel and its entrance. I may adapt this for some of my future tunnels and farm access points. Dave

Only just come across your channel Paul, and I have enjoyed the catch up. Your attention to detail and eye for scenery is great!

Thank you for the support and the kind comments skel3110. The scenery is the area I have most interest in when it comes to railways, still learning a lot though so keep watching to see how it goes! Paul.

Thanks for the handy hint for lining the skewed tunnel. Have you considered using Hob-e-tac? It may save you from having to do the PVA prepaint, as well as giving you some wriggle room when aligning the bricks in the arch. Cheers, Tony

Tony, I hadn’t considered it But I must look in to it for future builds. The paper trick came to me whilst fiddling about trying to get angles right. Paid off pretty well too. Thanks for watching. Paul.

My best advice for using hob-e-tac is to throw away the brush it comes with and use one from a kids paint set with similar bristles. A lump of polystyrene will seal the bottle if there is a ring of the glue on it.

hi Paul... you did an awesome job on that tunnel portal... i am a bit confused though.. why are you calling it a Bridge???.. keep up the good work... vinny

Thanks Vinny. Now, here’s the thing, I posted a blurb about this on a forum or Facebook post somewhere and someone stated that all tunnels are set at right angles to the track. Who knew? Not me. So I’ve stsrted calling it s bridge but sometimes call it s tunnel. In reality that’s what it is, there’s no ‘other side to it’ so it must be s tunnel. Whatever it is, I like it and it’s my Railway! Lol. Paul

How do you get those walls

I’m not sure what you mean. If it’s the brick sheets I’m using they come from Slaters. Paul
