Killer riffing and clarity bro! The SD1 is the icing on the cake, good choice too as in the Behringer OD800 you often use, is a TS10 circuit clone, and the SD1 is a better boost for riffing and chords I feel.

Thanks! Yeah, the SD-1 and TS10 circuits are hard to beat, they just work.

@@zyxwfish Wow, thank you. It definitely turned out pretty well. I think that Legend V1216 has a lot to do with it. It's a great speaker. For the tone, the Seventh Son pedal is a direct copy of the 250ML preamp. It's way cheaper than trying to get the actual amp.

What's the headphone output like? Worth recording direct, or are speakers the only way to go?

It's a raw preamp signal so you'll definitely need power amp sim and an IR to record, at least on the drive channel. On the clean side, you can get those bright, shimmery / chorusy 80s studio tones though.

@@low_e_music Thanks! Yeah I have some speaker sim options so I think I could make that work!

Yes!!! Absolutely love that album, probably a top 5 one for me. Have you ever heard the synthwave cover of it by Nite Lite? It's fantastic. nitelight-band.bandcamp.com/album/nitelight-plays-deaths-symbolic

my rig in my 20s was a GK 210 bass combo with a digitech hot rod distortion pedal boosted by a yellow digitech SD1 ripoff--way before i knew that's how others did it too (stacking dirtboxes). it was a massive sound. too bad i played a strat back then.
