Thank you so much Dr Hadley Wesson for this excellent representation. This was the best of all I have ever seen. Simple & straightforward.

What about the bile concentration action of gallbladder after gallbladder removal surgery? Wouldn’t it affect digestion? Because post surgery bile from the liver will directly reach into the duodenum without being concentrated.

I started getting these attacks around age 12. First time i got it i was eating moose meat, not sure if it triggered something or if it's even related. But it lasted for 10 years. Usually during eating. I would eat, start to salvate heavily. Then this extreme pain would hit. Once the pain went away, i could eat. I think i started becoming bulimic because i would always puke up some food to avoid the pain. Eventually it went away on its own. But i wish i would of gone to the doctor

I am local to you. I've suspected GB problems for years but never is anything found, the last 2 years I've had yellowish/orange BMs which started suddenly along with mid-torso pain, and now I'm suffering what seems mostly neurological horrid burning fatigue symptoms through my arms and even legs some. Along with "heartburn", some pains in the right front and back, etc. Lots has been checked and GI doesn't think digestive. However, I've heard all too much that both "sludge" and inflammation are almost never seen on scans, etc, and HIDA might not be affected or be high, yet these are problems. Sometimes hear that surgeons remove almost electively, and the GB is found to be "bad" thanks to actually seeing it. Wondering if it's possible I have GB problems causing body agony this summer.

I went once a month to my Dr with the same horrible pain , she had me take the hida x2 and all types of tests & yes the tests only saw sludge. Finally after 18 months my Dr sent me to a surgeron & I explained my dilemma. He asked me so you want it out? I said would some sludge be causing such horrible pain ? He said , yes if the area is inflamed before hand. So I was put on some meds surgery was a month later it went like a dream not a second of pain even if I bumped into the area. So…. When the Dr spoke to me afterwards he said he couldn’t believe the shape my Crystallized gallbladder was in ,I must have been in pain for years. He said It was ugly bumpy and wrapped in a weblike string as tight as fishing line. ?? I said I wish you had kept it because I have never heard of such a thing. The reason I tell this long story is because, according to my tests I had a little sludge, but my entire life has turned for the better & I wish I had been rid of this gallbladder years ago.

@@blazefairchild465 Thanks for the input! I'm amazed you even saw sludge. Claims are that sludge doesn't show. And often it's dismissed as not really being a problem. I have had pains in that area for some 15 years. Never mind all the worsening symptoms over many years, especially the last 3. (FYI I'm having a biopsy elsewhere, and I'm hoping it's not cancer causing all this problem.)

Castor oil breaks up gallstones. Dandelion and milk thistle can also help. These doctors have blinders on and don’t provide patients with all the options available. There is no monetary benefit for their profession to even mention these alternatives to their patients. They would rather cut something out of the body as if it’s a unused spare part. Disgraceful!

Not a single mention of possible alternatives to surgery and medication. NOT one mention that this issue is virtually non-existent in vegetarians, or a statement that cholesterol is only found in ANIMAL PRODUCTS ONLY - NO recommendation to quit eating meat and adopt a plant based diet...please see Dr. Gregor and Dr. McDougall for some honest perspectives on this issue before you let these people butcher you up, then prescribe you addictive medication to handle the pain!
