the same developer also has Leaning Animator, and it also works with GC2. Just add it to the GC2 mannequin, and the only caveat is do not set the foots origin, let it automatically generate that when in play mode, and it works out of the box. It makes the default run animations with GC2 a lot less robotic as it will make the player lean in the direction it is going when making changes in directions

That's cool, I'm going to try to connect Ragdoll animator 2 too, last week I added Legs Animator and it gave a good improvement to the animations generating procedural movements of the legs in GC2

Awesome work man, the script and the tutorial work great, thanks for sharing. Incidentally, I was playing around trying to solve the problem with the feet and the inability to use kinematic feet switcher. I tried not deleting the left and right foot but instead going to Construct > Physics, and then clicking on the little “Display other physics settings” icon and for both the left and right foot toggling the “Force Kinematic On Standing” checkbox. I may of course be mistaken, but it seems to correct some of the feet issues, and perhaps allows for the Kinematic Feet Switcher? Let me know if you’ve already ruled this out.

The animator controller yields several warnings if these default properties in "Fall-Get Up Animate" feature are not cleared: "Fall Animation" and "Set Bool Property On Fall". The PositionSwapper gives me some headache: in a simple setup with a ground plane at the origin and a character, both on top level, the character controller's initial y value is 1, while the rag doll's runtime y value is at 0. When you switch positions, the controller suddenly is below ground and starts falling in my case.

Got excited when I saw this but remembered I have Puppetmaster and not Ragdoll Animator 2 lol. Though I havent tried implementing PM on GC2 yet.

Hello, first of all thanks for the video and the script to made it work. but I'm having a bug using the script. When you do Falling and keep the character stationary everything works fine, but if while he is falling you move your character with for example WASD, a bug happens where your skeleton or something moves and when your character "gets up" is transported to where you walked with your skeleton

Hey! Is there a reason why you'd move the character while in ragdoll? Just set is controllable to off before ragdoll, back on after ragdoll

When the character hits an obstacle, the ragdoll activates, the character falls and then deactivates again? Is it like that?

Ahh yes that does have active ragolls. However between control and non-control, you'd still take this approach
